I remember getting cuts on the side of my lips from tearing open ice pops and those cardboard ones used to go all fluffy at the point of entry 😁

Only 2 mojos for 1/2p for me. Loved a 10p 'penny mix'. Also Tom Thumb pips from the jar, could get a big bag for your money but they became one huge sticky lump of concrete overnight if you didn't eat them all at once
Early 1970's, no idea of correct spelling, but we called it Kayli(e). It was a multicoloured sherbert (sugar granules) and the shopkeeper poured 2oz of it into a little triangular bag. If you were posh you used a spoon, but we mostly just stuck our finger in the bag and licked it. Ended up with a coloured fingertip for the rest if the day!
I'm not certain. The pink powder sherbert I'm remembering was sold by the quarter and wasn't quite as "fizzy" as the stuff in sherbert fountains. We called that kayli, maybe it's a regional thing (like breadcakes=buns=barm cakes etc). Talking of fizzy - can you remember Cresta? Strawberry was my favourite. Ditto Cremola crystals.

Was a long time ago but it was comics (whizzer & chips beano dandy etc) all I would only have left would be for penny tray, black Jack's & fruit salad, white mice, bubbly etc. Nowadays I'm a grown up & buy multi packs.
Fake edible money. Oh my did i love that weird stuff. Flying saucers and a carton of juice opened uppside doen by chewing the corner off a little. Jelly sweets too 10p mixes freddos and chomps. Or aload of them 10p chew bars. Wham was my fave

At one point as a kid I figured out I could have a pot noodle for a similar price as a snack, so I started getting them instead, was big in to Beef and Tomato
