Psychological and neurochemical insight from GenX

I saw an interesting video recently that describes a Gen X cohort that developed as a consequence of latchkey parenting.
The basic argument goes: de-facto independence resulted in self-sufficiency and working through problems non-performatively. As a result, critical thinking developed and was exemplified by intellectual success and questioning authority.
These coping mechanisms have been shown to result in lower psychological issues, stress adaptation, and even better digestive function.
I’m trying to remember the video and am looking for a link. It had something referencing Tipper Gore and brisket.
What are your thoughts?
