Up in the sky, catching you off guard — hot flash/angry sun.
To the folks who will understand the reference.

Massive drought here in Central Florida...
DeadheadCaniac@reddit
Now I'm going to think of this during my nightly 3am soggy wake up call lol
midnight-dour@reddit
Smack it with a shell!
ouijahead@reddit
You can do that ?
Gian_Luck_Pickerd@reddit
Yeah. Hold a Koopa shell, and when the sun swoops down, have it touch the shell. No more angry sun for the rest of the level
boredlady819@reddit
like, do i really have to??? i’m 43, IUD, can’t i just skip this shit? Or is it coming for us all?
Glittering_Tea5502@reddit
Makes me feel like my body is on fire!

We have a permanently installed Slip N Slide for this exact reason. One of us get too hot: “HEY! YOU NEED TO COOL IT!…Now go outside and hit the Slip N Slide. Hit the bump and take a dive…I love you too honey...”
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
That’s brilliant. I wish I lived somewhere that didn’t have winter so I could do this. Though that’s one Hell of a way to cool down.
i_chose_this_shit@reddit
This level is why I have anxiety
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
It’s the underwater level in TMNT that kicked off mine. This didn’t help, though. And that fucking FISH in the underwater world.
diablo2202@reddit
It’s funny how the sun only appears in 2 levels in that entire game, yet that’s enough to give us anxiety lmao.
Ryuujin_13@reddit
Nah, it's easy: just throw a turtle shell at it. Boom. Hot flash handled.
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
I mean, I do want to throw things ….
Bulky_Goat_9624@reddit
Ah so this is how I can relate to my wife when starts going through menopause?
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
Definitely. Niche reference but so long as she’s played Mario 3, you’re good.
JPMoney81@reddit
As a ginger, this level was early training for me to avoid the sun.
nelmski@reddit
He doesn't seem sweaty and miserable enough, but maybe that's my new and fun filled unrelenting rage speaking
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
I’m right there with you on the rage thing. It’s either rage or anxiety lately. I also had my period last week. Hot flashes AND cramps is a mean trick.

Venting about perimenopause with Super Mario Bros. references. This is it, as far as I'm concerned we have reached Peak Internet.
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
I’m honored!

😆😆😆🌞🌞🌞

That sun was a terrorist.
Wak3upHicks@reddit
That was my walk to school every morning
spanishpeanut@reddit (OP)
That sounds awful. 😣
