Pyjama people, how do you survive the warm nights?

I cannot sleep naked and I cannot sleep without some kind of cover over me which is problematic in this heat but I just can’t settle. Light weight pjs and a light weigh blanket are my only options.

I am a nakey sleeper but like you, need to be covered. In this weather I just use a duvet cover with no duvet

A fellow person of culture I see! Pair of loose cotton boxer shorts and a cotton duvet cover is my go to survival attire in this heat. Probably the fan pointed at me too, I don't usually need white noise to sleep but it helps too

I used some duvet covers to create a sort of tent in my last flat and use the fan to keep blasting air in. The flat didn't have a bedroom, just this ancient bed base in the main room so it was easy to attach to essentially the walls on every side.

Yeah, that flat overall was disgusting, moldy and depressing, but I did what I could to add whimsy, I hung fairy lights and fake plant vines and flowers all around the little bed nook thing, curtains around it for some perceived privacy (which really wasn't working). In a proper house now though!

Get a goose down duvet, it's expensive but the natural fibres are breathable and light and they don't feel hot.

We randomly got in a conversation at work last week and in an office of 8 people, I was staggered to learn I was the only one who sleeps with their feet under the covers. Everyone made out I was weird for doing it?!

I’ve just switched duvets as the heat as finally hit Scotland. Couldn’t believe I was still using a 9 tog duvet, no wonder my husband and I were kicking it away at night!

I think the lighter one is 4 tog but if that’s still too heavy I will stick to a light blanket. Light pyjama sets with shorts included are what I wear as I need to wear something.

I shower every night before bed, clean pj's and change my sheets once a week. I could never sleep with my bare arse touching the sheets!

My pj's are light cotton shorts and t shirt or vest style. I've got a lighter duvet for the summer months.
