Plan to Start Course Within 3 Years, Should I Start Studying Now?

Hello! I am a brazillian (hopefully) soon-to-be apprentice. I have found an aviation school near(ish) my city, and plan to start taking lessons within the next 3 years (gotta save up a bit) and a question popped up in my mind...
I started reading an FAA student pilot handbook (taken from this subreddit's FAQ) and watched a few videos about how air planes work (Not many though) and I have been wondering if studying this early without practicing at all is a good idea, and I'm that afraid if I start studying without the context of practice I could start misunderstanding the subject/developing bad habits.
Should I continue with my studies, or wait until I've started my course? Keeping in mind I won't start it for at least 1 or 2 years.

It's 3 years away, so do what you feel you need/want to do to keep your interests up, but don't imagine it's going to do much to actually help once you start. It's not "studying". It's just reading as a hobby until you actually start training.

If it interests you. It’s not gonna hurt as long as you are studying official source material and not some old boomer on the internet somewhere that thinks being over square is going to damage an engine and stuff like that

When I did my high power endorsement the CFI taught me over square will damage the engine.

Depending on the plane you flew I’d be willing to bet there’s cruise settings in the POH that are over square.
