I don’t know how to wrap a burrito so I just twist the ends shut 😅

I tried eating chipotle in my work truck for lunch. My supervisor called me into his office to replay the video of me eating it. Let’s just say he had a big laugh and I had a burrito come apart all over my work uniform. Lol

Heathen. Get your hands in there.

Push the contents into the center of the wrap, bring two sides of the burrito together and tap it on a flat surface. This should get all your ingredients into the middle.
Pickup the 'side' furthest from you and slide the ingredients towards you, not all the way, mind you -- leave yourself enough room to roll the side closest to you over the ingredients the best you can.
This is where your hands get dirty. To the best of your wrap's capabilities, tuck the ingredients under the flap without having it fall out the sides. Do this by scooping the left and right sides of the wrap into your palms and creating a little bowl while your fingers align ingredients.
Once the sides and most of the ingredients are well tucked, roll that pouch of internal deliciousness over so the remaining wrap covers the rest of the ingredients.
Toast wrap to seal.

So, same thing next time, but as you start rolling it tuck one end in, then roll it a little so that side is set, then tuck the other end in and finish the twist.

It’s just like rolling a joint only instead of making sure stuff doesn’t fall out of the ends, you can just fold the ends in because it doesn’t need to be a tube.

I jest, but they DO look really bad… Heating them up a bit in a warm pan helps a LOT with folding. At least you know to seal them shut with the pan. Except for the far left one. That belongs in an urn…

You fold the end parts towards the filling while the filling is perpendicular to you and cover it slightly with the flaps, then while holding your end flaps use your thumb to grab the edge closest to you and flip it over the filling and your flaps, then continue to roll. If you want it to be a chimi coat it in some kind of oil, like bacon grease, olive oil, butter could work but burns easily and then bake it at 350 for like 10-15 minutes and bam you got a burrito/chimi

Meanwhile I learned at 5 just by watching the people at the local Chinese restaurant lol. On the other hand, even after culinary school and actually working in the restaurant industry, I still suck at pancakes. I'm 50/50 on if it's perfect or a burnt mess. I know it's not my flame because it was the same shit on the flattop at work back when I worked at a restaurant with weekend brunch. Almost everything else I'm solid (I'm super rusty so at the moment so my pastry decoration leaves something to be desired). I'm cursed on pancakes though. My old roommate has 15 years of restaurant experience and is half-Mexican but he can't get Mexican red rice right to save his life lol. He's also cursed.

Same here. I have only ever been able to roll One by hand, and that was in an emergency situation. Otherwise I have to use a little rolling machine or I cannot do it. Been stoned for 35 years anyway LOL
