I bought enough for 2 years of oil changes, found a heck of a deal so I would have stocked up anyways.

Why is Nissan being singled out specifically here?
This shortage is going to be worldwide and affect every motor based industry.
IntoTheCommonestAsh@reddit
Because they're the ones who announced a shortage. Try reading the article lol

Technically Toyota announced it first, then the Autozone leak happened.
Nothing in the article states Nissan owners will have a harder time getting oil changes, except the title.
It’s just another “shortage happening” story.

Right! I heard it was going to be worldwide and affects every make and model as well.

My brother in law is in a major east coast auto parts warehouse, and they already have shortages.

Phew, good thing I have a Toyota!

Just bought a 5 gallon jug in Walmart in NJ. The place had no shortage
Haunting_Lime2296@reddit
5 quarts, iv never seen a 5 gallon jug
Much-Economics3481@reddit
Quarts. You are correct. Mia Culpa

Yeah same here I bought 4 / 5-30 high mileage jugs just in case my mechanic has a hard time getting them later I can bring my own. If not I can still I’ll use them in time if the shortage doesn’t happen.
