Headed to the Georgia Traverse this week

Leaving from Texas, I have 3 rigs rolling out and two days of driving before we even get to the beginning of the Georgia Traverse. Anyone know of anything I should be looking out for? I read in some old posts that there was a bridge out, but that was 3yrs ago. What are the chances it’s all good now.
If we’re lucky we will make the Hot Air balloon race in Helan!

I hope that tuck doesn't get scratched, I bet a paint correction would cost a fortune. My new black F-250 got so scratched up taking it overlanding, I always wish somebody would've gone ahead of me to clear the trails.

This is sarcasm right?

Curious how this is condition wise. I have a gx460 but it’s largely stock. Want some “easy enough” trip ideas since I do live close

Is this going to be your first big trip with the Leitner Designs setup?

I used it for years on my gen 2 without issue and absolutely loved it. Haven't had the chance to put it in my gen 3 yet, but it's an awesome setup (I call this version dual raptors).

My third.
Had it on my old Raptor for 2 trips. Once to Apache sitgreaves and once to Moab. I really like it, great system, super sturdy!

Nice. Glad to see it holds up to actual use. No issues with dust getting in the storage boxes?

Was about to post the same screenshot. As of the latest videos I watched on YouTube from some overlanders, the bridge is still out. People tried to drive around and actually moved the barriers but now they really locked it up. You could still do the Westside of the Big Frog Loop though. Charlie's Creek is still pretty washed out but seems passable with a hood spotter. Other than that, enjoy your trip. I go to the Traverse twice a month and just love it. If you are in Helen, go to the bar outside of Betty's Country Store. Pretty fun spot.

Good looking out! Thank you.

We started in Blue Ridge and went north until we hit the bridge. The bridge at the red circle was out this past November. We had to turn around. Once we made it past Tumbling Creek Camp Ground, the road was less managed. Before that it was well maintained. I would choose a different route than we took.
