It's not just the number of interactions, the big change is that the previous generations of migrants were the absolute best of the best. I grew up with Indians stereotyped as doctors and engineers because the standards were impossibly tough due to the mismatch between applicants and available quotas.

Biggest waves of Indian hatred online originate from silicon valley liberals and leftists. From the tech corporations. Because it was allowed and went unsanctioned for years, something akin to their hatred for white European people and women. Then the immigration to Canada soarked even more leftists and liberals of Canada to hate on saars.
