Is there a Theme Park like Europapark or Gardaland somewhere on the Balkans?

If not, some billionaire should build one, people have enough money to fill it nowadays. Crossroads somewhere "easily" reachable for the "big 4" BG RO GR RS...

Yes, just Google Ćacilend

Came to write jokes about theft or poor construction but I see y’all beat me to it. You guys never disappoint. 🫡

Vialand

Once a few highways are finished in Bosnia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria I’d say Thessaloniki is ideal for a massive park.

Its not close to Belgrade or Bucharest though. Just from Sofia its relatively close and same for Skopje.

Vialand Istanbul is a bit expensive for average turkish citizen (40 euro per person, allowed to use anything inside) but it's "the in Anatolia and Balkans"
canyoubelieveitt@reddit (OP)
I'll look it up thanks

A construction company making an amusement park in the Balkans would probably steal half the rivets on the roller coasters and sell them to scrappers. And the best part is: they would do it per government instructions.
Would not recommend.
tompa_zg@reddit
Steel beams would be stolen overnight as well. 😂
bljuva57@reddit
Good thing rivets aren't used in main construction since the 60s.
CasperGwamm@reddit
And then a certain national minority fondly called African Croatians would steal the rest. The amusement park wouldn't last a few months.😂

Sorry, would never go on an amusement ride in the fucking Balkans
canyoubelieveitt@reddit (OP)
Why?
RammRras@reddit
Because we are not amused
Lysergial@reddit
Put that smile away, this is Balkan!
canyoubelieveitt@reddit (OP)
But I want to be more amused bro
Careless-Walrus2568@reddit
Because the construction company will use some shitty chinese rivets that were procured from the newly founded import company owned by the mayor of the city who imported them from China.
PerpendicularTomato@reddit
Normally they're run by gypsies over there from what I've seen, and overall I just don't want to go on something that can kill me, whilst knowing the parts are probably not new, not maintained to standard, probably 90% of the parts are fake/2nd hand. Service men are drunk as a skunk, and many many more reasons

We have the shitpark 😄
ZinbaluPrime@reddit
What happened to Allou? I visited it as a kid and it was great.
Prod_Meteor@reddit
Last of it's years it increased prices and did not invest in new toys. Also.. we got broke 😄
Tonuka_@reddit
shoutout to Europapark, cute concept and nice rides
"easily reachable for the big 4" --> Blagoevgrad, Vidin, somewhere else in western Bulgaria?
ReasonResitant@reddit
No need, get a car and drive around a little, way more intense.
Ontorio8@reddit
The whole Balkans in a giant amusement park!
IndyCarFAN27@reddit
There aren’t any parks of that scale in the Balkans. There are plenty of alpine roller coasters. The one ones seating one or two people and you control the brakes but there aren’t really any noteworthy coasters. There’s one park in Croatia called Dalmaland that’s located near Zadar. It’s got 3 coasters and some thrill rides, but that’s pretty much it.
Sehirlisukela@reddit
The corpse that was once the Ankapark.

To me, theme parks seem too Western and cringe. We have enough money, but would we spend it there?
canyoubelieveitt@reddit (OP)
Bro westeners hike more than us and still also go to such parks. I dont see one excluding the other honestly saying.
Sylassian@reddit
Dalmaland

It’s not the best theme park but there is “Vialand” in Istanbul.

The whole peninsula is one gigantic wild ride.
