Do we have to be kind to humanoid robots too?

I try to be a good person, and I think I mostly am. I’ve been thinking about all these crazy insane advances in technology and the fact that we’re going to be dealing with humanoids among us in our daily lives, for sure. It’s gonna start out slow, but in no time these things will be everywhere.
I want to destroy them, is that bad? I live near a major city and those electric scooters you can pay to use are everywhere, including up in trees, submerged in rivers, under bridges, stuffed inside storm drains, everywhere they’re not supposed to be, it’s hilarious. This is what I see happening with humanoids, parts and limbs scattered around, talking torsos laying ditches, heads on stakes and shit. I’m not afraid we’re gonna be overthrown as a species by AI anytime soon, I just don’t want to fucking interact with robots. I already hate it when I can’t just call and talk to the pharmacist without spending an hour arguing with a voice prompted screening agent gatekeeper boss.
First one I see in the wild is gonna challenge my chill side, I might kill it if I think I can get away with it.

I want to be on the nice list when our robot overlords take over. I’ve seen enough movies and TV programs that show what happens to civilizations that abuse their AI robots.

I feel ya. Here’s the thing. Cameras everywhere. All activities monitored (especially in cities).
You see a humanoid robot doing its robot thing, and you snap. You attack it mercilessly.
Best case, you’re charged with destroying property. Most likely, you end up on a list of anti-robot persons, who will be the first to go when the “Big AI” takes over everything to make our lives “better”.
Either be a good human, and don’t mess with the robots, or be a smart human, and never post about your intentions. Don’t even speak them. Don’t even think them.
Because AI is watching and listening. And reading. Everything.
Have a nice day! 😁👍

No. I learned this from R. Daneel Olivaw.

Heck, I say please and thank you to Claude AI

We have a Google Home assistant. Have had the little speakers in 4 rooms. For years it responded to “Please” and “Thank you” but on the most recent update Google shut that off. And to be honest. I miss it.
I still catch myself being polite to it/her. It’s the only AI that I personally use for the convenience of having it.
Could I get rid of it? Yes. I could. I could live without it. We do when we travel. But I like having the ability to ask it random shit during the day. Or to have it perform simple tasks when we’re away.

How soon we forget the fate of hitchBOT. I doubt they will.

Wait until sex robots are mainstream. I can guarantee people will try and legislate how they can be treated.

I’m sure the robot’s feelings will be hurt by you calling it an idiot.

We don't like them on the phone, on the 'net or anywhere really. Our children don't respect them either. A few years ago I came across this article/study:

The good people of Philadelphia bullied the shit out of that UberEats robot. I can’t imagine it faring any better here in NYC.

Haha. I love it when those e-scooters clutter up the sidewalk so much for a nice walk
