The main issue is Israel lines the pockets of our politicians and keeps the boomers fooled with propaganda to sway elections in the favor of their backed politicians. We as a nation need to stop this bullshit of dividing ourselves on social issues that have zero impact on us as a whole. Once we unite that’s when you sit down and discuss social issues and how to better serve and support Americans. The republicans had the opportunity to sway a whole new generation of voters in their favor after the failures and corruption of the left. What did the republicans do? Immediately go back to war mongers once they got back in. We must stop even entertaining voting for them until the Ted Cruzes and Grahams are gone.

At this point my main issue is getting Israeli influence the fuck out of American politics and America altogether. Stop that, and you'll fix a lot of things.

That is maybe 2-5 percent of our problems. Biggest problem is half the population gets more from guv then they pay in taxes.
Libertarianism is a hard sell with those sucking on the guv teet.
And Trump cares nothing about entitlement reforms. Trump famously said “I am more Democrat and Republican” on welfare.

You clearly have never tried organizing your own house while you have meddling in-laws in town.

If we don’t get private money out of elections, it will all happen again

Public money in elections always comes with strings attached. I don't want the incumbents deciding who can or cannot run for office.

I'll always vote for Massie, same as Amash...usually when I really like a candidate they are rapidly becoming irrelevant.
I can't decide whether I think it's best for libertarians to do the Spike Cohen thing and influence people based on libertarian issues, or run for office and lose :D
Either way, I think we do good by promoting libertarian ideas, even if we never are the ones that bring them home.
Trump knew enough to throw us a few bones, which is better than...nothing I suppose.
Generally the longer I'm in US politics the more I feel like my opinions and votes are irrelevant.
...But I'll always stan Massie and Amash. Happy to have thrown a few dollars at each of them - they've served well.

On the topic of moving in our direction, yes and no.
Ron Paul got a sizable amount (in relation to US voting) of the ?middle? to wake up and move toward liberty and economic sanity. 2008, 2012. Both years a Republican lost the presidency. Afterwards the tea party came together which seemed like a 'wake up' of the Republican base. It did tilt the Republican elections, handfuls of tea party got into Congress. They voted in Trump.
Yet, look where we are today. Those woke up tea party voters all shifted back so easily because of Trump's charisma.
It's small gains every time there's a huge battle. But keep it going, some battle may win more someday and get important legislature through. For an example there, the Epstein information bill was a text book victory.
