DFW airport liquid rule

Is DFW airport really strict about the 3-1-1 rule?
I live in the DFW metroplex and I always traveled with a checked bag. Soon im traveling to Florida with a carry on only and all of my liquids are under 3.4oz but are they strict about the liquids being in one quart size bag?

I use makeup type bags with flat bottoms a this allows more space to fit everything in.

The only time I have had an issue was leaving Grand Cayman coming back to FLL. Adamant about 1 quart bag for each of us, we also travel with one late toiletries bag.

I have not seen a quart bag in a while. But BIG liquids still get taken.

I just went through tsa precheck this morning in terminal B with a huge bottle of conditioner and they didn't bat an eye.

Damn I guess I’ll test my luck then haha

Are you pre check?

Nope sadly :(

I just went through security (C Terminal) without any issue, but I’m sure it’ll depend on how nit-picky your TSA agent is.

Lol! I’m also going to terminal C, and all of my liquids are stuffed in one massive toiletry bag. I hope my TSA agent isn’t nitpicky

I would shove a one quart bag in the toiletry bag just in case someone gets nitpicky, then you can transfer it in if needed

I've used multiple one quart bags before and they had some at the checkpoint in Terminal D.

Just have a plan on what you are willing to trash if you get an agent who follows the rules.

Hope I don’t have to do that but It’s worth a shot

I don't think so, but I would suggest packing them close together in case you get flagged anyway. They aren't super nitpicky in my experience.
NoteCharacter@reddit (OP)
Yeah true that, all of my liquids are in one giant toiletry bag so wish me luck haha

It depends…last time I travelled out they didn’t even ask for my liquids, on my way back they did and I saw one man throw away his 100ml bottle of Tom ford cologne and I know that bottle is expensive af!!!

Omg if I was him I would have went back and check that bag asap!
