Had leftover mozzarella from making stuffed arancini. Could I have made mozzarella sticks? Yeah. Could I be fucked? No.

Yeah dried chilli flakes, fried garlic and onions or shallots, with piping hot oil poured over it all, mixed with salt/msg, also sometimes with peanuts.
Basically salty chilli oil with heaps of crunchy bits in it.

Where I am you can buy vacuum sealed balls of mozz, which are not moist, generally for slicing or grating onto pizza
