What does the uk do to avoid mass youth unemployment?

I feel like we're slow walking to this situation, maybe you'd argue we're already there, far too many graduates, not enough jobs or apprenticeships, meaning young people, grads end up underemployed or outright unemployed. Advancing AI will only accelerate the issue, with loads of entry jobs already going in the past few years. The problem is the barrier to entry has been raised too high, remember its not that young people dont want to work, \*they cant\*, they cant get jobs anywhere and especially not in their field, dont let CEOs and MPs gaslight you. So what actually is the solution, more job creation? Do employers need to lower standards for entry level jobs? More support for small businesses, hospitality and retail so young people can do something rather than just not work? I know there's no quick fix and its a big issue but people in power seem to be aware but aren't doing much about it.
