When I was a kid, I attended an event that was supposed to be a black tie affair called “the eagles” (heh heh, relevant name to this sub) It was through my karate school, and it was an awards banquet where all the awards were for the different positive attributes the karate system taught ie responsibility, commitment, respect or positivity. I was nominated for camaraderie. To this day, I don’t know why.
