New Skids.

Put some CaliRaised skids on today. Fit perfect. 30 minutes to install engine and trans. I’ve had their sliders since ‘21. I’ve had to use them multiple times. Highly recommend if you’re in the market.

Thanks for reminding me that I never put my skids on my truck

Any plans to get a transfer case skid as well?

Not currently. Seems like unneeded weight. My stock skid hasn’t been touched, so I believe I’m good.

What got me to get one is when I smashed the crossover on a rock and also hit the transfer case.
What was interesting is that I didn't lose any mpg due to the weight. I'm assuming the flatter bottom helps with wind resistance.
You do lose a little bit of ground clearance, but worth it in my book.

I’m probably just gonna risk it and then regret it later

Hey if you do squash your crossover like I did, then you don't need the spacers some kits provide for clearance haha. Sometimes the 4runner gods will let you know when it's time lol.

Love the trail rash.
Wear it with pride 💪

I used to polish it, but I gave up on that this year

Same. I’ve got 3 seasons of stripes now.

Form the looks of the bottom of your bumper, looks like you could use em!
I just installed my aluminum skids for the front end and gas tank. Ez-pz job on these 4runners.

I’m really not sure how the stock tin sets lasted this long, I am not easy on this thing

First time I have seen an overlanding Toyota with trail scratches on it 😎

I go to the Ozarks as often as I can, as I live in Oklahoma
