He's saying that after the good shepherd (Jesus) takes his sheep home(Christians and the rapture), only followers of Allah (Satan) will be spared from the demons who will roam and terrorize people during the 7 years of tribulation.

I belive this, and Abu Bakr and Umar too belive this

It means that morons will kill each other so they could debate the fairy tale stories of ancient times.
As the man with the talking metal tube that shouted it's message through thunderous circular paper cones in their metal cages said “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” -Georgius Carlinus
VPackardPersuadedMe@reddit
I mean the Koran 610 which is Late Antiquity, start of the middle ages.
Not really ancient.
BrocoliAssassin@reddit
Oh god.the uhmm actually.. you know what I meant.
I seem to have hurt the other religious idiots on this sub.
I’d really love for anyone that believed in these fantasy fairy tales to do a yearly bet with me on if their God will show themselves. We know it’s 1000000000% never going to happen , cause it’s not real.
By the time you reach adulthood, how many times do you have to read that killing is bad?
VPackardPersuadedMe@reddit
My point is Islam is not an ancient religion, but a relatively new one.
Not sure what you are talking about, but you do you killer of Brocoli haircuts
regman231@reddit
1400 years ago is relatively new?
I disagree

Cow and wolf were "saying" that by nonverbal communication. Cow wasn't created for that purpose, thats not in cow's nature.
Wolves (and other predators like lions, crocodiles, cheetahs, etc. ) go after week, slow, injured or sick sheep, thining the herd, but removing its weakest, make the herd overal healthier. In nature. Humans interfere, and as shepards humans don't always slaughter the week, injured or ill sheep, sometimes its the fattest or the biggest healthiest ram.
As an Orthodox Christian that knows languages other than English.
NissinSeafoodCup@reddit
You are flat out wrong. If you know Arabic, which this Hadith was written in, the muslims literally believed that a cow and a wolf literally speak; as in producing intelligible sentences in human language with their lungs, throats, and mouths.
This Hadith is there as a “lesson” for the muslims to absolutely believe in whatever Mohammad said. Doesn’t matter how outlandish it is, if Mohammad said it’s true then it’s true. Abu Bakr, who was mentioned in this Hadith, was so famous for blindly believing in everything Mohammad told him that the muslims honor him with the title of “Al-Siddiq” (the truthful one). Blindly believing is a virtue in Islam.
Wild_cmpt6406@reddit
Its not me who is wrong.
The lessons are there. You are just learning the wrong one.

Why would the people be astonished and praising Allah for the nonverbal communication of animals?
Wild_cmpt6406@reddit
Its a stylistic way of presenting things. Figure of speach. In reddit soyence believer language the transkation would be:" Actually the man cannot drive cows they are not automobiles. When he rode over it and beat it, he was committing inhumane crimes of animal cruelty. Praise be Steven Hawking. "
-Satchel_Gizmo-@reddit
This isn't a fault in grammar or something nit-picky. It's the entire point of the story. The Bible is full of parables, allegory, and metaphor but they all have a point. They're all at least internally consistent.
Jesus' parables are almost all presented as stories told, I which case he wouldn't have to defend animals speaking because it's a story. Maybe next time you try to explain this nonsense, use that framing and your comment might make sense too.
Wild_cmpt6406@reddit
This isn't Jesus Christ or the bible we are talking about.
The "prophet", the writer(s) and the audience are all different.
Next time you respond try to use your brain first and at least think trough things before typing.
-Satchel_Gizmo-@reddit
Oh the irony. No shit it's not the Bible. That was a contrasting example to show how you can make a nonsensical parable still internally consistent.
Next time you respond try to use your brain first and at least think trough things before typing.
Wild_cmpt6406@reddit
It isn't Aesop's fable either. But you can stay ignorant...
Reply again, uncultured fool, if you want a curse.

NissinSeafoodCup@reddit
Close, it is a reference that you must blindly believe everything Mohammad said, whether it’s seen or unseen.
TypicalMootis@reddit
How does one hear "Abu Bakr" and not burst into laughter
NissinSeafoodCup@reddit
It’s even better if you know the meaning. The guy’s real name was Abdullah and “Abu Bakr” was the nickname that his friends gave to him. It means “Father of Camel” because he spent so much time as a kid playing and taking care with camels.
So muslims for all these hundreds of years keep unironically naming their kids after a nickname just because the owner of that nickname was Mohammad’s best friend. It would be like if a religion started in Mexico today then a few hundred years later you got a few people with “El Gordito” as a birth name because the original one happened to be the Prophet’s best friend.
Hedgehog-Moist@reddit
I have a whitest ever looking friend with that name. The name raises some eyebrows upon introducing himself to strangers
thermitethrowaway@reddit
Ask him how his dad , Abu Abu bakr is doing. He of course is also Ibn Abu Abu Bakr.
