Here’s the deal: an actual doctor is NEVER going to write a fake excuse letter because of the liability. There’s websites that say they’ll give you a real note, but you’re wise to be suspicious. My understanding is the guaranteed note sites ask enough questions so they can cover their own butts… however, their notes aren’t going to survive much scrutiny. How they word things in their notes is an easily spotted tipoff.

If you need a note, as others have said, go to a real doctor in Urgent care or a legitimate telemedicine doc.
