What are the "yellow boxes" that this song lyrics refer to (and what does 160 quid have to do with it)?

I love the song Full Circle by Good Health Good Wealth, but don't understand part of the lyrics in bold:
>Answers on a postcard
When is it okay to drive in a bus lane?
**And what about those yellow boxes?**
**'Cause I'm a hundred and sixty quid down and I can't work out if there's any consistency there**
Initially i thought they were talking about men's boxers before realising he says boxes lol.
What does it mean and what does 160 quid have to do with it?
