Deciding between iceco or bodega large fridge. Or??

Weighing the two right now. Are there other better options. It will be primarily used for long road trips along the highway to prevent the need to stop at restaurants and to transport perishable food back home. There are 6 people in my family. Thank you!

I have an Iceco APL35 and have nothing but good things to say about it. Holds steady temperature, is quiet, low power draw. I could always use more fridge/freezer space, but it easily holds enough for a long weekend for our family of four, and I chose this specific model because it fit my space and I wanted the dual zone option. Lots of bigger options available if needed.

I’ve used my ICECO VL45 Pro for a few months now with no complaints. The slider sucks though 😩

I am posting this from my overlanding GX470 with my shoulder up against my iceco vl35 pro. I'm just waking up in the Talladega Forest. I absolutely love it. 5 Watts of power usage most of the time at 35°. Every now and again the compressor kicks on and jumps up to 50 Watts 12 volts DC. Does not even wake me up. If I'm staying in a hotel I can just plug it in to 110 volts. I can fit several days of food in it for just myself.

Ive got an Alpicool thats going on 4 years of use on some pretty rough offroading, still works great. Actually just order a new larger one for longer trips, my current one is still working fine, just got back today from a 1 week trip.

Setpower. Mines pushing 5 years old. Still good as new.

Can you tell us the model you have?

I don't know, it's a 35qt or 45 & gray. I think they all use the same compressor as this is about 2 years old

ICECO APL55- we’ve used it for >1 year, daily. Seamless. Easy. Reliable.

I have a Bodega clone, 55L dual zone. I've been using it for about 3 years now and for the last year it's been a beverage cooler in the living room, running nonstop and taking on overflow from Costco trips and stuff.
No complaints. In hindsight I would probably get a single zone 45L or so to get a smaller footprint/take up less cargo volume. But it is nice to do a trail run and bring popsicles.

I had a bodega for a weekend and it was terrible. Couldn't get cold then the motor would overheat and shut down for several minutes. Home depot dot com took it back, fortunately. It's possible it was a single defective unit and others are good. But I've had iceco and a bunch of buddies have them. They're pretty solid.
