We've sold a ton of these since the rebate... no one has questioned us about receipts that I have seen, but I don't see every email we receive, since we get a few hundred daily.

Thanks... JP should have already emailed you with the invoice. We found out what was happening. We had all emails with the subject line "Your order from The Gun Shop USA is on its way!" routed to a specific folder so those outgoing emails wouldn't clog our regular inbox. What we didn't realize is that anyone replying to the email would also get routed to that folder. Thankfully, there were only a handful of emails in there over the last few months, but both of your emails were there.

We've done two things...

We fixed it so that anyone replying to those emails would be routed to the regular inbox.
We've started including an invoice with the serial number included with the tracking email... if the firearm is shipped from our local inventory.

I have a Benelli m4 and just got one of these. Should I get another one after I receive the rebate?

My wife and I both attend similar classes, range sessions and hunting trips. Therefore it’s nice to own at least two semi auto shotguns in our household.

For hunting and some range sessions I prepare the equipment for the entire group, though my friends usually only get a Remington 870 or an entry level AR, as I rarely rent out the expensive stuff.

Do I get two so that I’ll have a spare? Or do I just save the money? (We both have an individual wage 10%-20% higher than the median household income, but we are still renting because mortgage rates are prohibitively expensive and we still can’t afford to pay off a house in full.)

If you already have an Benelli M4 and a 1301 or A300 I am not sure why you need to buy a 2nd 1301 or A300 even if you and your wife shoot at the same time. Save more money toward a house or fill a hole in your firearm collection rather than get a spare or just the money for a class or more ammo for training. Do you shoot clay? Do you have a nice shotgun for clay and hunting? The 18.5" shotguns are better for home defense than hunting and clay sports.

Yes, according to the prior Gundeals posting others confirmed that this model is a Mod 2 version--has the upgraded components. It is made in Italy rather than TN which some prefer.

You are welcome. I picked my 1301 up this afternoon. It has all the features that were added to the Mod 2 except the 7 shell tube. It is made in Italy. I assume they switched to the 5 shell tube when a restriction was put in place for imported shotguns. I assume all the new stock 7 shell magazine 1301 shotguns are now made in the TN plant. Some prefer Berettas made in Italy over USA ones. I think the rebate sale a 4473 may be used if the receipt does not list the serial. They was a small receipt that came with mine that listed the serial. I also asked my FFL for a copy of the 4473.

I got one a couple weeks ago and when I filled out the rebate it said not valid on sale price. I still submitted but full expect a denial.

Also they want a recipe showing it was paid in full the price you paid the sku and the firearm serial number.

Feels like dealers are slightly raising the prices on these in hopes people snap them up for the rebate. A good deal on a a300 I feel like was 800 or under. 880 seems like a every day deal and you gotta hope the rebate actually works, no hate on this dealer as they do appear to be the lowest but I don't count rebates into a deal incase it goes bad.

Just keep in mind that Beretta has had two price increases in the last six months. We are making less on it now than we were before the increases. I can assure you, it's not the dealers... in this case, it's the manufacturer. What you will see pretty soon is they won't be this cheap, and Beretta will start enforcing MAP after this MAP holiday they are having, which is going to make every dealer sell them at over $1000 online... no more email for price. Maybe Beretta raised the price so they could offer the rebate... but either way... they were not $729 in the last year before the rebates that I can recall.

This post just reminded me that it would be in my best interest to get it sooner rather than later especially if they raise the price which would put them in Benelli M4 price range and I’d just grab the Benelli at that point.

Thanks... and I really don't know what Beretta is thinking. If they actually enforce their new MAP policy (literally just rewrote it in March)... their online sales will dry up. I don't think anyone is going to pay 1100+ for these A300 units that have been selling for a while at under 900. And... 1700-1900 for the 1301s that have been selling for 1300-1400. It just doesn't make sense. Of course, the challenge will be getting everyone into compliance once the MAP holiday ends. Sig was able to do it, but I've yet to see anyone else do it.

Beretta bought Ruag Ammotec a few years ago which owns the brands Norma, Geco and some other brands. This is around the time they had for recalls for defective ammo. Beretta eventually released a premium pricing strategy that turned one of the most affordable ammo brands out there into one that was no longer competitively priced most of the time.

So Beretta enforcing MAP would not surprise me and I'm also concerned regarding what's going to happen with Ruger now that Beretta is taking more ownership.

If it's anything like my Remington extension and clamp, then it's just a couple turns with an Allen wrench to loosen it. It probably adds about 30 seconds to the entire cleaning process.

I’ve shot over 1000 rounds through my a300 UP and haven’t ever run into that situation. It’s a tacticle shotgun so I’m not taking it on hunting or anything just to the range.

I got a 21 inch 1301 and despite what people think its fine for hunting. Just if you wanted to break down your gun to wipe water out (if you were out in the rain), or a really quick field strip cause usually someone has oil and can find a rag. Basically any time you arent home and may need to field strip the gun. Not saying its common, but its a nice to have

Correct... we had to replace a charging handle damaged in shipping, and Shelly, our sales lady, removed it after loosening the barrel clamp with an Allen wrench. It's pretty easy to do.
