Are all TCI 727 reverse pattern transmissions full manual? And do they need kickdown?

If it's full manual it won't have the kick down shaft with a flat side sticking up out of the gear selector shaft, it will be cut down so it's just a short fully round shaft.
If it's there it's an automatic and needs the kick down to shift properly

Are you referring to torqueflight transmissions, or something else? What vehicle is this out of?

Yes torqueflite 727, its a new transmission never been used, mounted on a 408 stroker but the man I bought it from doesn’t know what the details😅

I dont know the answer to your question unfortunately, most of my experience has been with GM and Fords. I was just curious if you were talking about what I thought you were or not. I would ask the folks over at r/mopar and the "forAbodiesonly" forum on yahoo forums. Theyre going to have more specific, accurate knowledge about the vintage TF trannies like this

Thank you!😄

Have you called tci?
Suttelade@reddit (OP)
Yeah, but I’m not getting any replies, and I need to move the car very soon😂

Are you calling the tech line? You might be out of luck on the holiday weekend. If you absolutely gotta move it just shift it yourself

Yes, okay thank you!😎
