How do I rent my new build home?

Hello!
I am a new home owner, it’s a new build in Kent.
The building work on the development is basically done, a few houses still haven’t sold. They are lovely homes, built with a small developer and have great reputation.
I am 24, am the director of 2 businesses and am able to work from wherever I choose.
I like to be able to go from place to place and spend a few months abroad, however I realise now having this house and mortgage is a big responsibility to just pack up and leave behind for months on end.
Whilst I can afford to do this financially, it’s defo not the most sensible route. My mortgage is around £1600 for a 3 bed stunning house (semi detached).
I am in a difficult situation, since I bought the house as a long term commitment, it is round the corner from a family business, and will be a great base to have for me in the UK.
Whilst I don’t really want to commit to having long term tenants (since I still like to have a base), I also understand that short term tenants aren’t really a thing in this UK?
My mortgage is with nationwide, I’ve lived here for about 8 months now. It is a residential mortgage, and I understand there’s some terms behind me living in the property etc I think?!
I am a complete novice to mortgages, renting, and what the best thing for me to do here is.
Appreciate nobody can give me the holy grail answer, but any thoughts most welcomed!

AirBnB? But if you don't intend to be in the area, you'll need to pay someone to clean it between bookings.

You would need to get consent to let from the lender, and then when your mortgage is due for renewal you'll need to covert to a buy-to-let mortgage.
Neither short or long term let's exist any more. Tenants are free to leave at any point with 2 months notice and there are only certain reasons why you can get a tenant out with 4-6 months notice plus however long it takes the courts to act if they don't go willingly
