Relocating to DFW!

Hey! I'm a Black 29F looking to relocate to the DFW area from South Florida for my job as a healthcare professional. I am looking to live in an area that's walkable distance to workout classes, coffee shops, boutiques/stores, and some restaurants/bars. I'd also like a grocery store nearby (preferably no more than 15 minutes away). I enjoy Jazz/R&B nights, spoken word, walking to get fresh air, etc. What area(s) do you recommend?
If you have any apartment recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate them! I'd like my total monthly to be within $2500, but could expand, if needed ($3k/mo max). I prefer indoor/hotel style apartments with great amenities and 24hr concierge service. A high-rise with a nice view would also be nice!
I'd also love any tips on groups to get plugged into to meet new people!
Thank you in advance for your tips! God bless ❤️

I have a friend that lives in this building and loves it. It's going through a complete renovation inside and out. You can't beat the area. It's right on Turtle Creek, surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and very walkable. A 5 minute walk to Katy Trail. The building backs up to Turtle Creek Plaza which has a full service grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, etc. it has a large green space with large swimming pool and area for dogs if you have one. There are a 24/7 concierge, complementary valet parking and awesome balconies with great views,

I'm not trying to be an ass by telling you this. But this is NOT a safe state for Black People. Hell, it's not even a safe state for poor people. Of ANY color. The traffic here is an absolute nightmare, the roads and vehicles on them are dangerous,we have the highest car insurance rates in the country, there's zero sense of community, the water and power is not becoming more abundant, and the climate is not getting nicer or cooler overall. At least in Florida, some of the beaches might still be nice. Do yourself a favor and move to a Blue city further north in a state that isn't run by the KKK. That's what I'm doing as soon as l get enough money to GTFO. This is great place to visit. The food is good. The Museums are great. But l wouldn't recommended living here to anyone l liked. Good luck.

Respectfully, she didn’t ask you any of that.

Try searching for places in Uptown!

Try Austin.

Bishop Arts has all those things. You should get with a realtor or locator and give them your list and they can send you a bunch of options.
