In that holster, priceless.
Note: These dont have a transfer bar or any other safety mechanism preventing the firing pin from hitting the primer when the hammer is down. It generally recommended that you let it rest on an empty chamber to prevent ND if you’re carrying it around loaded.

This should be high up

Its worth 200

Get your finger off the trigger
GregorIsABug@reddit
He might shoot you through the screen with that 12 pound DA trigger pull.
HybridP365@reddit
Unlike you I care about others besides myself. Bad habit is a bad habit and the 12 year old girl in his neighbor's house probably doesn't want to get shot either.
GregorIsABug@reddit
I just dont understand the point of assuming the condition of firearms through screens. Once my firearm is clear I'll dry fire it all day
KataifiKalamari@reddit
It’s called discipline. Your comments say your house is dirty and you’re overweight
Jakes0nAPlane@reddit
But would you put it to your own head and pull the trigger? Or your child’s/spouse’s/dog’s head? The only correct answer is no, so don’t think you’re smarter than others, just practice gun safety. Every time.
HybridP365@reddit
OP is asking what the value of a cheapo Saturday night special revolver that they already paid for is. And has their finger on the trigger in a terrible grip for a random photo.
You know damn well they're not dry firing and I'd bet my left nut that they didn't check and clear before taking this pic.
Infinite-Space-2395@reddit
Gun safety means doing it everytime. No matter what. You think it will never happen to you but id hazard a guess that "but I thought it was clear, I checked!" Is the prevailing complaint levied after an ND.
_WhiteGoodman_@reddit
Convinced this is rage bait. And it’s working 😂.
No trigger discipline ✅. Dumb holster with no trigger guard ✅.

Saturday night special

Why do people always ask this after they’ve already made the purchase?
Early-Secretary-4255@reddit (OP)
Cus the history condition and rarity makes me believe it could be over 200 I just can’t find anything on it but it’s worth 200 to me just for it being cool

Lowest in the completed listings on GB is $136 + Sales Tax, Shipping, and 3% CC fee, as well as a transfer fee from whatever FFL you got it shipped to, unless it was C&R eligible you you have a 03FFL. So, in short, you paid about what you would have from GB once you tacked on fees. Most "BIN" offers on GB for the same gun in the same caliber sit right at $200.
gunsforevery1@reddit
And sitting there, no one buying. There are only 2 completed auction sales. One for 136 and one for 320.
map2photo@reddit
Sounds like $200 is right there in the middle. Not terrible.
gunsforevery1@reddit
Considering that there are a bunch of incomplete sales at $200, the $320 is a really weird anomaly.
Its truer value would be closer to the $150 range.
tallen702@reddit
Plus tax, plus shipping, plus FFL transfer fees......
There's the "value," and then there's the real price. Hence, my statement that he paid about what he would have for the $136 example on GB after fees, shipping, etc.
gunsforevery1@reddit
I never consider those aspects when talking about the value of a firearm. All of those fees wouldn’t be there if you, let’s say, lived in the same city as that shop and just walked in and paid for it. Which is what I assume can be done with 99% of firearms. I’ve seen people try to justify what you’re saying that it should be included in the price but where does that stop? Are you going to include the time it takes you to drive to the post office to get a money order (some Gunbroker accounts, like my own require that), the cost of an envelope and stamp, the gas to and from the post office?
I just look at the sale price. But it’s fine if you want to calculate all the other fees, taxes, and transfers into the value of the firearm.
gunsforevery1@reddit
“The history, condition and rarity makes me believe it’s worth a lot of money, but I also cannot find any information about it”
The last two that sold were $136 and $320.

To find out if the other person is really their friend.

😂
tallen702@reddit
Because they have the impulse control of a coked-up squirrel and the need to satisfy the dopamine rush of getting a new thing that fits with their current category obsession overrides the whole, "let me whip out my phone and check completed listings on Gunbroker or ask Reddit" common sense that dawns on them after the fact.
To be absolutely transparent, I am NOT throwing shade here. I was one of these people for a VERY long time in my early collecting days. Even now, in my mid 40s, I have to mentally smack my own nose with a newspaper when my cursor starts moving to the "bid" button before really researching the gun in front of me on various auction sites.
Some of us struggle with executive functioning quite a bit.

The trigger discipline is aggravating
ArceusTwoFour_Zero@reddit
I used to have one of those revolvers, it was a piece of junk. I had to clean it every 50 rounds, or the revolver would start locking up. The serrated trigger is sharp and double action pull is horrendous.
$200 is a bad price. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it. I bought one years ago for $150, even for that price it was junk and was a stupid buy.
