Which version of rx 9060 xt 16gb is the best?

I want to upgrade my rtx 3060 to rx 9060 xt but i am wondering if gaming oc vs xfx swift is even a debate considering the dual bios? What do you guys think? Maybe other models? I want triple-fan tho cuz its always quiter, better temps and better looks.

Go for a 9070 or just stick with the 3060 for this generation.

Sapphire seems to be the go to brand for a lot of "team red" as they're dedicated to only making AMD cards. I just bought one yesterday and will be putting it in this weekend.

Everything else being equal, try to match motherboard. I have a Gigabyte card with my Gigabyte motherboard and I could control both with same software.

is it really a thing tho? I have gogabyte motherboard and personally like the xfx more by the looks.

It's a very small factor for me. Only consider if you're having a tough time choosing.
ADo_9000@reddit
The best one, is the cheapest one.
Don't be stupid they all perform identically so don't spend more than you need to.
If you have more money to spend get a 5070/9070 or similar

Brand (support, warranty) matters.
ProfSnipe@reddit
That depends on where you live. In my country (I'm in the eu) when you buy any kind of product online, electronic or not, if you have any issue and you make a warranty claim you go through the retailer from where you bought it.
It's the retailer responsability to fix your issue, if the manufacturer needs to be dealt with the retailer will do that.
So in my case or I assume this is the case for most eu countries brand is irrelevant.
BoutTreeFittee@reddit
So for example, if one product has a 1-year warranty, and another similar one has a 3-year warranty, that doesn't matter in your country? That seems odd to me, but I'm not familiar with consumer rights in most EU countries.

I went with this ideology and went with gigabyte gaming oc 9070 xt without doing much research on it and I ended up with 95C hotspot.
ProfSnipe@reddit
I also did the same when getting my gigabyte Windforce 5080 sff and it's perfectly fine. It's actually more than fine since I can even oc it to around 3.2 GHz on the core and it sits at around 74°C without oc in games is at around 60 - 65°C
In your case it's not unheard of to get a card with badly applied thermal paste/ pads.
I had gaming laptop before, it was a legion 5 and when I first took of the heatsink to replace the paste I saw that one of the thermal pads was folded on itself leaving 2 vram chips uncovered. It's a miracle they didn't die.
So I'd say it comes down to luck.

It’s not entirely true, cheapest versions can be power locked to lower tdp
ADo_9000@reddit
I have yet to see one that does that where it actually changes performance.
Some 9070xt are 304w some are 340w and it's an unnoticeable difference.

My thoughts: Only Sapphire and Power Color use PTM7950 on this card, it's definatelyworth it to buy a card with it since it lowers temps quite a bit and you will most likely never have to repaste it.
Qwark28@reddit
My gigabyte version smells like plastic for almost a year now, very slowly fading, even after removing everything.
greatthebob38@reddit
Doesn't really matter in my opinion. Which ever is cheapest is the best option.
Beneficial-Ranger238@reddit
I have a challenger and an xfx. The challenger actually benchmarked better than the xfx. One system is 1080p, the other is 1440p so I can’t really say whether one performs better.
They’re great cards, love mine.
esw123@reddit
Sapphire Nitro probably with the best cooler.
limijamal@reddit (OP)
yeah but its more expensive, like 100 dollars, check edit btw
esw123@reddit
This is bait? This is not nvidia, pick any gpu then you will be fine.
Withinmyrange@reddit
Solid upgrade choice btw
Honestly it doesn't matter, the difference between difference models is always 1-3% so it doesn't matter. You either choose the cheapest model or you can choose a 3 fan model if you prefer the looks of it.
limijamal@reddit (OP)
i know, i think i will buy the xfx swift one cuz its only like 14 dollars difference (the gigabye gaming oc is cheaper) in poland and i like the looks of it more
Withinmyrange@reddit
$14 more for a model you prefer is a very reasonable price
limijamal@reddit (OP)
check edit bro
Electronic_Desk_3170@reddit
i like the aesthetic of XFX cards, id pick that tbh
9okm@reddit
All same. Buy cheap.
TechnoGMNG589@reddit
Id personally get the xfx swift due to aesthetic
Middcore@reddit
Get whatever one is cheapest or that you like the looks of the best. They are all going to perform about the same.
aragorn18@reddit
They will all perform similarly. Personally I would buy the cheapest one. But, get the one you think looks the coolest. Features between specific models are mostly irrelevant.
SevenDeMagnus@reddit
buy just the base version but ftom a branded GPU maker
