WeegieBirb@reddit
I’m weak, and I gave mine $20 a tooth. I myself got 10 dimes crammed into a tiny plastic treasure chest.
MNxpat33@reddit
Guelph35@reddit
Baby teeth are a couple bucks each but a full set of wisdom teeth runs about 4 grand these days
Dando_Calrisian@reddit
50p I think
heavyLevy5@reddit
According to my dentist it's several thousand dollars
cashews_clay15@reddit
Yes, my child had 6 pulled and it was around $2500. So they should give their kid about $400 per tooth.
NativePA@reddit
6? Are you a shark?
cashews_clay15@reddit
Ha! Well he had to have a bunch of baby teeth removed for orthodontia
whither_wander_you@reddit
my 10yo just had 6 baby teef pulled cause her adult teeth were coming in sideways!!! i had 4 pulled as a kid cause I needed braces to correct an underbite. teeth genes are wold!
cashews_clay15@reddit
SAME! His upper and lower are coming in sideways! So they made room, installed space maintainers and put a chain on one. But those adult teeth are taking forever to turn and come in!
whither_wander_you@reddit
yeah its been a wild ride the past year with kids. my oldest had to have her upper teeth pushed out with a weird ratchet spacer thing attached to the top braces.so much orthodontia!!
cashews_clay15@reddit
Ahhhh my kid will lose his crap if that happens. He’s already dreading braces and the poor kid has to wear a chest brace for pectus carinatum.
Crans10@reddit
lol I am thinking about how I got some baby teeth removed. Like string tied to tooth and door knob and slamming door shut. lol
thatG_evanP@reddit
My Dad (before he left) used to go "Here, let me have a look at it." I don't know how many times I fell for that.
Illystylez619@reddit
My Dad did the same thing! "Let me see..." then YOINK! Thanks Dad. Money please!
cashews_clay15@reddit
He’ll pull them out before they’re completely ready! He still has to lose a few naturally.
Independent_Baby5835@reddit
Oof, orthodontic work is so expensive. 😭 I could have bought a new car for the amount of money I spent for my TWO kids to have nice straight teeth. Just waiting for my little one now to get older to see how much that one will cost.
Stabwank@reddit
I would have picked the car over giving my kids Lego teeth.
cashews_clay15@reddit
I could not afford more than one kid! I don’t know how people do it.
thatG_evanP@reddit
I couldn't afford a single one so good for you.
Intelligent-Salt-362@reddit
I think there is an in vs out differential. Anyone with a pair of pliers and a strong stomach can pull teeth. The same can’t be said for putting them back…
No-Acanthisitta8803@reddit
That's actually cheap compared to prices I've heard around here
thisisallme@reddit
Damn, was $220 per tooth when my kid just got some baby teeth out to make room for the retainer before braces
cashews_clay15@reddit
The fun part is we didn’t have dental insurance at the time. So we paid out of pocket for that, and the two space maintainers. Thankfully we do now so we’ll get some help with the braces.
MistaRekt@reddit
Mine was $500 Australian the other day. Second time that tooth snapped off eating chicken.

Close to $6K for an extraction + implant. Take care of your teeth.
King_of_Lunch223@reddit
This is why the tooth fairy should bill insurance...
OtherAcctWasBanned11@reddit
Dental insurance is a straight up scam so they’d be disappointed.
King_of_Lunch223@reddit
Insurance is a straight up scam...

physical0@reddit
I get a golden dollar coin and shine it up with my Dremel tooll.
I tell them to put the tooth in an envelope so they don't lose it and seal the envelope.
I put the coin in an identical envelope and seal it, them swap the envelopes in the night.
Gfinish@reddit
A ₿itcoin!
RaptureInRed@reddit
Five quid due to inflation
whither_wander_you@reddit
whatever cash was lying around. usually under $5 for natural loss. our youngest had several pulled and got $20...of her own money...returned to her after a shopping trip where she paid me...
toomuchtv987@reddit
My friend gave her kids those Sacagawea dollar coins. The kids thought it was special tooth fairy currency and wanted to save them. I thought it was genius.
theduder999@reddit
This is what we do too. My wife also went to the bank and got a dozen $2 dollar bills, as well. My kid gets 3 bucks a tooth in special tooth fairy currency.
CosmicTurtle504@reddit
My son gets a $2 bill and a book. Books as gifts has always been our M.O., because we’re big readers and we want to share that love of literacy with him. He gets way more excited for the tooth fairy book than the tooth fairy money!
wiserTyou@reddit
That's cool. You don't see a lot of kids reading these days. My parents got me to start reading around 6th grade by saying they'd buy books if I wanted to read. That lasted a few months until I was polishing off 3 a week, then they gave me a library card. I'm still pissed about it.
frougle_mcdugal@reddit
rearwindowpup@reddit
Two dollar bill gang checking in.
Old_Suggestions@reddit
Now that you mention it I do remember giving the kids special coins. Was only like a dime and a regular single iirc, but got the kids curious about coins. So that's fun.
HeatAccomplished8608@reddit
Am I your friend? because I also do this, fairy gives 2 dollar coins per tooth
AdventurousMap5404@reddit
I had a guy friend who couldn’t say Sacagawea so whenever we’d be at the train getting tickets, he would always ask me to hold his “Shania Twain bills” so he didn’t jingle too much at the gay bar 🤣
Square_Traffic7338@reddit
Yup. I got a stack of cool coins, much more exciting
toomuchtv987@reddit
And by the time they realized it was real money, they had around $20 or so!
ciccacicca@reddit
THIS! And when we realize we don’t have the gold dollars or $2 bills is fold a $1 into something origami inspired (the dollar ring is a hit! And George Washington’s head as a mushroom).
Illustrious-Highway8@reddit
Our Tooth Fairy folds the dollar into a little frog, because that’s the only cool origami I know.
TollyVonTheDruth@reddit
I did the four $1 bill origami hearts with a quarter in each one. It was a bit of a pain, but my daughter loved it, so it was worth it.
Intelligent-Search88@reddit
Us too. Pointer for you - throw a couple in your suitcase if traveling with the kids. You never know when they’re gonna pull a tooth out.
Hb_Hv@reddit
I’m so glad other people do that along with 2$ bill! Makes complete sense to me !!
Glittering-Most-9535@reddit
$2 bills is my FiL's domain so I stay away from those, but can second gold dollars as feeling really special. It's been a few years between my oldest wrapping and my youngest not yet losing his first, glad the magic of a gold coin can still go a long way.
The_Dark_Frog00@reddit
This!
chutehappens@reddit
We do a $2 bill
djhankb@reddit
We did the same thing!!
madetoday@reddit
We do interesting foreign coins, I bought a bag of them in bulk before our first tooth loss. The tooth fairy travels all over and leaves coins from where they visit.
It’s a nice magical story and take some consumerism & commodification out of it.
phillium@reddit
Similar, but half-dollars. Nice big coin looks very impressive to little ones.
Kalel42@reddit
I grew up getting half dollar and dollar coins. They were special, so I never spent them.
Broad_Tie9383@reddit
I give them $2 also, but I try to do two dollar bills (not common currency and you have to get them from the bank) or dollar coins, which feels more special to them. Every time I do it, I end up muttering about how much I think $1 and $5 should be coins instead of bills.
astoriaboundagain@reddit
Yup. I think I got that idea from this sub a while back. "Gold" dollar coins and $2 bills all the way.
ThanksALotBud@reddit
With the economy right now, you owe the tooth fairy some gas money.
rearwindowpup@reddit
I went to the bank years ago and got a stack of $2 bills, I leave one of those with some random piece of produce (did once as a joke, then they got sad when I didnt, so its canon now).
Stabwank@reddit
Last time I checked my dentist told me it was about £1800 if I wanted to keep my tooth or £40 if I wanted it gone.
Number1Framer@reddit
I gave my kid an entire roll of quarters to blow on those stupid machines at the grocery store. What I SHOULD have done and wished I had thought of was giving her an entire roll of quarters to teach some budgeting using those stupid machines at the grocery store. Turns out the acorn does not fall far from the tree.
FormidableMistress@reddit
Story time. We were visiting my aunt and uncle out of town. They have a great big living room and when we have a big family get together all the kids sleep in piles of blankets and pillows on the living room floor. My daughter lost her first tooth while we were there. We did the whole routine of her putting it under the pillow, and after she was asleep I put a dollar under the pillow and took the tooth.
The next morning I wake up to her shouting "I GOT $21! THE TOOTH FAIRY GAVE ME $21 FOR ONE TOOTH!!!"
Y'all. The way I had to think on my very groggy feet. I told her wow! That was so exciting! That must have been the regional manager Tooth Fairy for the I-10 corridor and since it was her first tooth lost, she wanted to handle it herself to make sure everything went smoothly. Because our regular Tooth Fairy where we lived didn't give out that much money.
Judge me if you want, but this was the first tooth the first child had lost. I have 3 children and was not about to let $21 be the standard for 3 mouths full of teeth. 😂 The whole time I'm side eyeing my uncle who is just quietly dying of laughter. He's been playing Santa for all the kids in my family and our family friends since the '80s. He's the type to let the kids have ice cream for breakfast. I wish everyone had an uncle like him. But I was not about to let him set that standard and cost me $1,260.
boner79@reddit
2 dollar, Bob
RealisticSorbet@reddit
Tooth fairy gives $5 in my household. I feel like that's even too much.
ArchitectVandelay@reddit
Bluey’s mom agrees
andiinAms@reddit
Man I got like a quarter when I was a kid 😒
Soszai@reddit
There are kids in my daughters’ classes getting $20 a tooth, and they tell their friends. So now my kids are like… why is to tooth fairy shorting me with this $5 BS
mydogatestreetpoop@reddit
Sorry my wife is one of those parents that made it rain for useless baby teeth. $20 was pretty much standard and they even got little extra gifts on top of that. I’m just glad they’re out of baby teeth. She scoffed at my idea of giving them toilet paper which we all know is the real treasure during any disaster.
Revolutionary_Gas551@reddit
You should take $2/ tooth in taxes, and then when they complain, you can just tell them to get used to it.
platypod1@reddit
This tooth fairy happily gave out $20 because teeth always seem to fall out at like 9:30pm and I'll be damned if I'm doing anything other than going to the ATM down the street.
GaspSpit@reddit
Well, kids these days are very transparent about their earnings. Double edged sword if you ask me 😂
coffee_and_physics@reddit
Same here. In retrospect I wish I’d gotten bunch of $2 bills because that’s less money but still feels special since they aren’t common.
RobertBDwyer@reddit
Was a quarter as a kid, I think a twoonie is fair now. Somehow I think $bills are un-Fae
lemmylamb@reddit
I gave mine $2
HeyBird33@reddit
Our tooth fairy gives $2 as well.
DrJaneIPresume@reddit
Yes, crassly commercial. There's something very fae about exchanging one small stone (made of dentin) for another (made of metal).
MamaLovesTwoBoys@reddit
Yes! Started at $5, will stay $5! My husband said if we do anything else the expectation will stay with that hahaha
sigmonsays@reddit
Our tooth fairy gave $5
Bobat@reddit
Same. $5 for a natural tooth loss. But one of our kids had to get a baby tooth extracted for orthodontia reasons, so that one was $20.
CarmenxXxWaldo@reddit
An entrepreneur child would simply extract all their baby teeth early to quadruple profits.
realperson5647856286@reddit
I did this for my kids. They were whining about the pain and lack of solid foods but after I explained the power of compound interest to them they came around.
MrCrash@reddit
Nah, that's bad business.
It's a commodity speculation market. Keep those teeth in as long as possible because the price is probably only going up.
True_Dimension4344@reddit
I know a girl who wiggled all of hers out to capitalize on this. Her dad was also a dentist. She’s a lawyer now.
No-Sheepherder448@reddit
Same.
Independent_Baby5835@reddit
One time when we were at my parents house, my brother (who has no kids) gave my daughter $20. After that, $20 was the expected amount. 😭🤦🏻♀️
sounds_like_kong@reddit
We did $5 when my oldest lost her first tooth. It was too much but the precedent was set. 3 kids in total now and that’s some serious cheddar! 🤣
Adrasteia-One@reddit
That's what she's offered here as well. That's a far cry from the 50 cents per tooth I remember getting. 😕
Automaticman01@reddit
I think we gave extra for the first tooth, but the rest are usually $5
AcanthisittaSafe3340@reddit
Yep $5 here
jenntones@reddit
If it’s traumatic, I give $20, if it’s not, $5-10 depending the tooth
greenline19@reddit
My daughter got $5 last night/this morning
EvilBill515@reddit
I paid $2200 for a crown that fell off.
fave_no_more@reddit
We do $2. First tooth got a $5 bonus, and last tooth will get a bonus too.
MetricJester@reddit
Tooth fairy is giving paper money now. $5 each time and $10 for the last one.
dudly825@reddit
$1 in my house, with a pinecone, and I tell them it’s from the Easter Bunny.
If we’re going to do nonsense, I get to be an active participant.
wolfmann99@reddit
Crown, the root canal, then extraction + bone graft, soon implant and another crown. For me like $6k for just one tooth over the last 2 years.
brycejolliffe@reddit
We do $5.00 a tooth which is a long cry from the $0.50 I used to get lol. Fuck inflation.
RavenousRaccoons@reddit
Our tooth fairy delivers a neat silver dollar 🦷
GnarlyLeg@reddit
I went to the bank and got $20 in $1 “gold” coins. Each tooth was a special dollar.
SciFi_MuffinMan@reddit
We do 5. Toothflation
decosunshine@reddit
$1 - fun gold dollar coins because they look special.
Another parent told me that kids talk about the going rate at school and that it leads to hurt feelings of kids who believe the tooth fairy is real. That stuck with me. Even if you're rich, consider a more modest amount for teeth, and spoil your kids at other times.

kalitarios@reddit
My last tooth issue took 18 months to resolve and about $5000. Thankfully i had an hsa
What happened:
Top right molar #3 had a filling break out and was extremely sharp, dec 2024
Reported it to dentist, they did an emergency temp filling for $900 and couldn’t get me in for a proper assessment until march 2025
They temp filled it and sent me to an endodontist for a root canal and filling
This was $2700, paid by my hsa. Insurance sent me $2000 of this back in a check after 6 weeks
The temp crown was fitted sept 2026 and that cost me $1450 and insurance didn’t cover it at all. The temp crown came with the permanent crown free! (If you can call it that)
It’s fixed now but damm… many visits and being sent all over for an eventual root canal and crown isn’t cheap nor is it necessarily covered at all
Chadthemark@reddit
nelmski@reddit
Collect them in a jar and start family lore about how you stole it back from the tooth fairy!
Addamall@reddit
Soft foods from now on. No exceptions.
BuckManscape@reddit
Considering a candy bar is pretty much $5, I’d say $10 is fine.
FAHQRudy@reddit
$2 bill. It’s the “twooth” fairy.
Call the bank in advance, get $100 worth of $2 bills.
morroia_gorri@reddit
My kids have been getting $1/tooth base rate with an extra dollar if it was traumatic enough.
Unlucky_Business2165@reddit
I was just quoted $1500 to replace my tooth after spending thousands for an extraction and implant. So I would say about 3k.
SB4_Camaro@reddit (OP)
Implant didnt work?
Unlucky_Business2165@reddit
Well, after an extraction, you get a bone graft, then a titanium implant. My implant worked. But now I need the abutment and actual tooth that screws into the implant. It is multiple stages with months of healing between and thousands of dollars. I do not recommend. It started years ago when I was at a restaurant and cracked my momar on some brisket. Then I had to have a root canal. Root canal failed and I had to do the above. Now I have everything but the tooth, and no money. That makes my bite off causing jaw and tooth pain.
T1m3Wizard@reddit
Should be no more than $50 in an ideal world.
5ubatomix@reddit
Y’know my kids are grown, so for a split second there I thought you were talking about selling your teeth on the black market or something
sammych84@reddit
My kids are not grown, actually in the age range where they should start losing teeth soon, and I also thought they were talking about that. 😆 or implying they chipped a significant portion of their own tooth off and making a joke about the high cost to repair it 🫠
SB4_Camaro@reddit (OP)
Well... $20 is $20

WithASackOfAlmonds@reddit

Turd_N@reddit
Use foreign currency. It’s cool, it’ll add proof the tooth fairy is international, and the actual value is meaningless.
sparkletigerfrog@reddit
£2 for first tooth, £1 for each subsequent tooth
Kittylove1213@reddit
I started with a $0.25 for the first, $0.50 for the second, $0.75 for the third...and so on. It gets expensive at the end, but it does give the kids $50+ by the time they are done with is a nice amount for them to have.
We negotiated with out tooth fairy (TF) that we leave the tooth under a pillow outside the bedroom by the door. Since out TF also gives a chocolate with payment, TY policy prohibited leaving it in a room with a dog, so we had to find a compromise. Definitely recommend seeing if you can negotiate this type of arrangement.
Thelichemaster@reddit
That's small fry. I only got coins under my pillow. Give 'em $5. (Had to convert from 35+ years ago plus inflation) and even that's being generous.
AggressiveDeer2753@reddit
I give a buck a tooth two bucks for a molar. I’m cheap 🤷♂️
Kinky-Bicycle-669@reddit
Even the tooth fairy is feeling inflation!
Previous_Link1347@reddit
Five silver dollars. It's like finding a pile of treasure.
Slartibartfast39@reddit
£1. We also say there are lots of tooth fairies so every household can be different.
brawndoenjoyer@reddit
Coins. $1.50 in random coins gets a better reaction than a crisp $5 bill
Wild-Sky-4807@reddit
$4 per tooth, but my husband had this idea that the tooth fairy only gave out $2 bills, so we made it hard for ourselves....
Gatorae@reddit
We did $5 for our kids.
NicPaperScissors@reddit
Our tooth fairy brings books! She also leaves a note saying “I met your parents and- oh my god, they’re some of the coolest parents I’ve ever met! Whoa! I can’t get over how awesome your parents are!” And my kids found that hilarious when they quickly figured it at out.
SJSsarah@reddit
Damn kids are rich nowadays. I think I got, a couple of quarters? Maybe a silver dollar??? Or a 2 bill.
firesoups@reddit
$5. My mom thought that was insane but inflation!
donutseason@reddit
All I know is my son’s first tooth is loose and I remembered I am completely grossed out by wiggly teeth!! 🆘
benevenstancian0@reddit
$5 average rate.
$10: Birthday or Vacation, had both scenarios happen.
The-Good-Bad-Place@reddit
Dollar amount = which number of tooth was lost. First tooth = $1, second tooth = $2, etc. (Or that’s what we’re doing in my household!)
mallanson22@reddit
I chose to not lie to my kid.
Oaken_beard@reddit
A while back my kid lost a tooth. The tooth fairy’s rate was $2… but she mentioned that her friend at school’s got $5, so I found my self trying to explain tooth exchange rates and Supply Demand within the Fae world to a 2nd grader.
Long story short, money is money and they’ll be happy.
majikane@reddit
When my kids were losing their teeth I went to the bank and got a bunch of gold $1 coins. Only the tooth fairy would bring them. It also kept costs down. $1 for that kind of tooth, $2 for a molar. $10 is nuts but if you got it like that go crazy.
HORSEthedude619@reddit
10$ is way too much.
If we're talking a first tooth, I'd give a couple bucks.
XBXNinjaMunky@reddit
My daughter lost her first tooth on a trip with my parents, we were not traveling along. Mom slipped a $20 under the pillow and set the bar....thanks mom...
thedoc617@reddit
For an artificial one (implant plus crown) I was quoted $7000
Ckn-bns-jns@reddit
Depends on what we have on hand. One time my son lost his tooth while we were staying in a hotel and all I had were $20s. We told him the tooth fairy gives more if you’re on vacation so you can buy a souvenir (we were going to be buying stuff anyways so gave him his own spending money).
WilliamGrantham80@reddit
I give my Son $5/ea. I got a quarter, sometimes a buck. I figure she's gotta account for inflation.
karinda86@reddit
We do hot wheel cars. So roughly about $2
RepulsiveInterview44@reddit
I give $20 for the first tooth, then keep a pile of $5s for all future teeth. I have been caught TOO many times without cash on hand 🤣
tuvar_hiede@reddit
Depends on thier age. My son likes coins so he would get a few bucks in quarters. My dad gave my daughter $5.
maidofsteele@reddit
My child got $20 for her first tooth because this tooth fairy didn't realize that's all the cash we had in the house until it was already midnight and time for the fairy to do her magic. She made sure to leave a note stating it was because it was the first tooth. All other teeth have been between $1 and $5 depending on what tooth it is (incisor, canine, molar). $10 for a first or last tooth doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
burnitalldown321@reddit
My neice gets $5 and a small book
I got $1 as a kid in the 80s/90s.
Just had a remaining milk tooth removed at 43; The Adult Tooth Fairy brought me a special edition of To Kill a Mockingbird. Such a Queen!
hokie47@reddit
A dollar. Actually hard to keep cash anymore since we don't use it much, but always keep a few dollars around. Biggest thing is don't forget before you go to bed. Usually set a alarm to remind me. Probably will give a 20 or something when wisdom teeth are removed.
LaLa_820@reddit
I asked our grandson how much he got from the tooth fairy. I was thinking a couple of dollars but he pulls out 2 crisp $20 bills covered in glitter.

The tooth fairy that visited my kids was still at the 1$ rate.
HuckleberryHappy6524@reddit
Same here. I give them one or two Eisenhower dollars and trade them for cash. I’ve been using the same few dollar coins for years.

$20/tooth. The fun part is that it’s the same 20 bill every time. I talk him into giving it back to me to put in his savings.
CaTz_EyE@reddit
I got $1 when for mine. I gave my kids $5 when they were younger. They’re a teen and adult now. I think with inflation it should be more so $8-10. My step kid is only allowed 25¢ per year of age for each tooth. The mother is a cheapskate.
thewhitecascade@reddit
Inflation, $10-20

€2 for big molars etc, € 1 per tooth for the rest.

Tooth fairy gives out either a fresh $2 Bill or a gold dollar.
Vargen_HK@reddit
When this question came up for me a couple of months ago, my wife said "Bluey set the rate at 5 bucks." There was no arguing with that logic. I tried to point out that it was $5 Austrailian but apparently I can't expect an almost-5-year-old to understand exchange rates.
SB4_Camaro@reddit (OP)
My wife said 500 yen. That’s $3.14

Personally, I’ve found the tooth fairy to be a lazy bitch that seems entirely unprepared for her job. Ideally, she would show up with a $5 bill every time she visits our house, but alas that is not always the case. She has given anywhere from $1 to $4 and even left notes saying that she ran out of money and will return the following night (she compliments the tooth when she leaves notes and adds a small piece of candy when she comes late…probably with the ulterior motive of generating tooth rot and getting more teeth in the future).
ashores@reddit
My daughter has taken to hoarding her teeth instead of putting them out for the tooth fairy (which she knows is pretend anyway). I haven't decided if that's a win on our part.
Foreign_Fact_3740@reddit
The tooth fairy gives what they can on that particular day. Sometimes it's a dollar. Other times it's a $20. Once it was a random $2 bill.
The_Dark_Frog00@reddit
$2 to $5. Start with $2 and a note from the tooth fairy. Then increase to $5 if necessary.

We went a little overboard for the front four and the parents of several of my daughter’s friends have said their kids complained that she got better stuff from the tooth fairy.
For her front four the tooth fairy brought her a cat stuffie, a voucher for an audiobook, two little kitten stuffies and one of those little TY stuffies they sell at pharmacies and gas stations.
It kind of happened out of necessity. The teeth kept falling out at like 7 o’clock at night and neither my wife or I ever have any cash so we did what we could.
After she lost her last central incisor we told her that the tooth fairy brings the best presents for the front teeth and when she lost her lateral incisors she got some cheap tchotchkes from the local gift shop we had stashed away for rewards and classmates birth days.

Is that yours or your kid’s?
For the kid, I did one coin per year of age. Started with dimes because those fit in her little tooth treasure chest. Moved up to silver dollars for the first one she pulled by herself. Double each when she lost both top front teeth in time for Christmas, on the contingency she learn the song and sing it at every opportunity.
If it’s yours, I’d insist upon one tenner per year of age. Cuz you’re a big boy now

$1 gold coins or $2 bills. Both fun for kids. When you get to the molars that start coming out when they are older (and understand money a bit better and that you are the tooth fairy) then the price gets up to $5-$10 depending on what you have in your wallet.

bikeonychus@reddit
We did $2-$4 (CAD) based on the tooth, or, a small toy or equal value. Kiddo has to tell me which they wanted so I could 'call the tooth fairy'. Sometimes it would take a day for the tooth fairy to arrive, because after 4pm, she was 'already out on her rounds for the night'.
My daughter lost her first tooth at 4yo, but is autistic and wasn't verbal then. She didn't really understand the concept of money, which is why we used small toys. Took the tooth loss like a trooper though, thanks to Peppa Pig.

I bought a few ounces of gold a few years ago from the bank. It is intended to be inheritance for my kids. I wanted them to open my safety deposit box when I'm gone and find gold like a pirate treasure. Anyways, when my oldest lost his first tooth I put an ounce gold wafer under his pillow. I'll do that for other two as well. No one believed him when he said he got real gold. Everyone he told thought it was a chocolate gold coin.
