Beautiful evening in British Columbia 🇨🇦

Day 20 was a great day. British Columbia is one massive and beautiful place. In a single day of driving we experienced rain, snow, and sunshine.
This right here is the definition of an overlanding paradise.
We just made it to Prince George. The plan now is to reach Hyder, Alaska within the next two days. After that, depending on the weather, I might make a straight push to Tuktoyaktuk. If conditions don’t cooperate, I’ll slow it down and spend more time exploring Alaska first, then leave Tuk for the drive back home through the Top of the World Highway.

Past you on cathedral grove last weekend. Enjoy the island.

BEAUTIFUL. I hope spring has actually arrived in BC?
I'm camping on the eastern side of the Rockies in Alberta and am stubbornly drinking beer outside, in my shorts, despite freezing my ass off at 10 C.

Hit and miss, I was wearing shorts this morning now I am wearing a jacket and have my heater on

Enjoy the trip (saw your earlier post), it's typically warmer out west by now, maybe on your return leg. If you take the Alaska highway back and into Alberta, I'd recommend hitting up Kanaskis, trumps Banff and Jasper IMO.

That’s my planned route back home. 🙏🏼 thanks for the recommendation

Spring is in full swing over here on Vancouver island, 18° today on the west coast of the island, last snow was March 16, though the other morning was frosty. Granted it’s always much warmer on the island in the winter compared to the rest of the province.

We seem to be having an early spring yeah. Fire season has already kicked off. We did get a little bit of the traditional April snow dump at elevation but nowhere near what we usually would most of the province. Sitting at 17° on the western side of the province today

Similar highs in mid-south Alberta, I hope we dive right into some warmth soon though.
