“Secretly”
No, they’ve been pretty vocal about executing suspects it considers traitors to the State. You can argue the morality of it all you want, but nobody has any business dictating morals anymore considering what’s going on in Gaza and Sudan and the complicity and the lack of action around it.
Note: Those two cases are just examples of many that the world has conveniently looked past.

Evil is not a competition where the first place takes everything and everyone else is dismissed. So yes, people are allowed to be outraged - and they should - about Iran setting new records every year in how many of its' own citizens the regime sentences to death through sham trials with dubious evidence and zero transparency regardless of what's happening in other countries.
MrTatyo@reddit
Israel and American had admitted to arming terror groups in Iran to cause chaos. Executing civilians is always wrong but it's understandable if you think they are trying to undermine your state.
In this case, it's more American and Israel fault than Irans.
loggy_sci@reddit
Trump said they attempted to send guns to protesters but via Iraqi Kurds but that the Kurds kept the weapons. The Kurds denied this.
But of course in this sub that means that the U.S. sent Victoria Nuland to personally hand out firearms in Tehran.

Define "Evil".
You can't because the notion of evil and good are based on arbitrary definitions made up by the collective world. That adds to the moral quandary of being able to dictate norms and values.
What's "Evil" to you is merely justice to Iran and its government. And that was the whole point of my comment.
Azzagtot@reddit
The thing is - this outrage is just being used as a cover up for neocolonialism, propaganda and distraction.
Zipz@reddit
The thing is
When you guys cover for Iran
It makes you look evil
chiefmackdaddypuff@reddit
Thing is, when you guys bomb millions, YOU are the definition of "evil".
Azzagtot@reddit
Indeed, this is the thing: western media would sell anyone anything given how many billions of dollars they are getting for pushing their agenda.
How are those WMD in Iraq, were they found already? How's Libya doing after dictator was killed? Democracy in Afghanistan, eh?
Zipz@reddit
Let’s just ignore Iran killing thousands of their own which even they admit
Again it’s interesting you pretend to have morals while ignoring this type of stuff
Azzagtot@reddit
Here's the joke:
What fell down faster: Afghani government propped up by US or it's allies clinging to planes?
Zipz@reddit
Naw the joke is you actually
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
trump and netanyahu openly bragged about having massive intelligence penetration, that means yes iran has a right to target them
Zipz@reddit
Weird since when do people lime oh believe trump or bibi?
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
what makes you think they aren't doing this? it's very much obvious
Zipz@reddit
I asked first
Why do you believe known liars ? When in every other situation you never have ?
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
how are bibi and trump lying here? it's quite factually correct that they have penetration of the country that deep in espionage networks, of course they'd have incentive to cause betrayal in iran's leadership and status
Zipz@reddit
So you’re a hypocrite that wants to believe them only when it fits your worldview
Got it
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
wow me, who is so against the US and israel and the west that openly tells the admittance that they have penetrated the country with intelligence
what are you smoking?
Zipz@reddit
Again every other thing they say they are liars
Now you trust them for no reason other than it aligns with your beliefs
That makes you a hypocrite
It’s not complicated
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
what? how is it a lie when they have said it exactly and I just said that iran has the right to execute them for treason, how is that hard to understand?
Zipz@reddit
Ahhh yes all those people executed for treason in kangaroo courts with many of them being clearly innocent
Jesus Christ so you trust Irans courts ?
Ya something is definitely wrong with you
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
"clearly innocent" when the CIA and mossad have been found guilty trying to cause the protestors to shoot and cause chaos by arming them guns via illegal smuggling routes, which is rightfully shall be said as treason and traitors
Zipz@reddit
Can I see all this evidence?
You know the evidence used to execute these people by Iran
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
mossad has long established a deep network in iran and it is undeniably true, iran also has intercepted countless shipping of smuggled weapons, how can it not be obvious at this point from mossad alone
if the US, china and russia are all known to treat treason with death then iran has the right for that
Zipz@reddit
So deep that Iran is having all this trials and cannot show all these evidence you speak of
Interesting how that works
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
absolutely, iran has the right with the death penalty on traitors
Zipz@reddit
So you believe Iran deserves the right to kill people without evidence got it
Jesus Christ
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
it has the right to kill anyone who is armed by mossad absolutely and with pride
EtherealPheonix@reddit
Iran having 80% of global death penalties last year is wild (though It does look like the total number may not be including accurate data from several other execution leaders such as China and North Korea). They've always had a horrifying number but that's over double the previous year. Numbers so far this year aren't super reliable for obvious reasons but the 200 listed in the article is closer to historical rates than the 2025 number.
NNKarma@reddit
They are at war with a country that loudly boasts about how much they fund dissidents on their country. Of course just by errors innocents will certainly die but it's unsurprising that they do find traitors to the state.
Coolenough-to@reddit
The US should keep at it until Iran runs out of murderous leaders.

should we bomb Saudi next?
Traditional_Neat_506@reddit
count the UAE or qatar please
WestcoastAlex@reddit
and Modi!
Gubbinso@reddit
Because that's worked so well in the past...
Remember when the USA overthrew Iran's democracy? That's why Iran is like it is now.
