so it’s a non-running Ford courier 1974. I got it in the summer and have been working on it on and off for about a year, but I am getting another one this early June. the one you see in the photo will never run the engine is so seized the pistons are part of the engine block. So the new truck actually has a running engine and to compare the frame and swap any parts that need replacement(theres a lot of them).

So close to a REPU

Looks like a prime candidate for a 302

If the truck in the pictures is your parts truck and the new one is in better shape, i don't see why not. A project car as your way to get to work reliably is not a good choice, though. i hope you have alternative transportation.

I guess you’re ignoring the flakey rust in the bores? Dingle ball will not recover that ha.

What's the question here? Yeah it's cool. Probably not a great choice for a first vehicle seeing as it's about 5-10k$ off of running and driving to a safe standard.

I bet i can get it running for under 500$

😬
You are in the midst of a white line fever if you think that will roll for $500. The brakes alone are gonna be 1/3 of it.
Regardless. I hope you get it rolling. Its a cool little truck
