Dude get another one it is such a blast even just driving it to work, got this one for 800 bucks because the synchros are totally gone in second and third but you just double clutch and it still works fine!

Is this a common issue? My ‘07 3rd gear synchro is toast, been rev matching for years. Funny, I got the car certified preowned in ‘09 and it had the same issue then, dealer had to fix/replace it then, and it slowly developed again over the years. I’ve just assumed it’s my own bad form (upshift 2-3 takes more hand movement than 1-2 and 2-4 so I probably dump the clutch too fast).

My only suggestion is to get some bars welded up with latches to triagulate between the door hinges and the latch point. On unibody cars doors are a structural member, so if you hit a big enough bump and the roof buckles because the doors are gone you're in for a very bad afternoon.

Absolutely sick build tho.
