I recently got Nintendo Switch Online with the expansion pack which includes NES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, SNES, Virtual Boy, and N64 games. There's tons of games I don't even know where to start lol. What's your favorite video game from childhood?

Still any Zelda. The classic Mario games are fun, but more frustrating than I remember them being.

Blaster Master on NES was my jam.

I understand all of those choices except Atari’s Space Invaders. That port to console was truly awful. I loved the arcade game. The console version was awful, even the sound effects sound like various forms of flatulence.

You're not wrong, but it didn't matter to me at the time (I was 8, iirc).

I was really big into Sega games. But don’t have much time to play anything anymore. I tend to listen to podcasts like Retrovania to feed my nostalgia of old titles and some games be never heard of.

The games I put a ton of hours into were Ultima and Wizardy. (I suppose I should say Ultima's and Wizardry's since I played multiple games in each series).

River raid, frogger are two that come to mind .... there's more

Pong
Seriously though, Pitfall.

From childhood is probably Atari 2600 Adventure. Nintendo was 3 or 4 consoles into my youth so not old enough.

For the NES, Super Mario 3 was my favorite. On the SNES nothing topped Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. There are also Sega Genesis games on there and there are too many good ones to count.

The original Prince of Persia. I once won a speedrunning competition with that game.
