Graphics card update

Okay I just got my pc a few months ago. And although it can run some games. I think my graphics card might not be the best requirement for most modern games. I have an Intel Arc A750, with an Intel i9 as my processor.
My question is, what can I update the A750 to? Bit annoying not being able to open games up because of my graphics card.

i9 doesn't mean much without telling us which one. If you only have a 9900k, that limits what I'd recommend pairing with it, but if you have a 14900k (and it hasn't killed itself yet) then you can get any gpu you want.
You might need a bigger PSU regardless of what GPU depending on what you currently have.

12th Gen 12900k, with 24GB of installed ram.

cpu is pretty solid, you could upgrade to almost anything under the sun, probably not a 5090 but honestly it would still work fine.

When was the last Intel ARC driver update performed?
Silent-Principle103@reddit (OP)
Prolly a week or two ago?

And what games are not launching?
Silent-Principle103@reddit (OP)
Biggest games I’ve tried launching was F1 25 and Ark. but I did launch NFS heat. Didn’t wanna damage anything, so I’ve been careful with what games I launch

Hmm...this is showing ARK 1080p Low does run...30 FPS...in 2023.

2026 drivers should still be able to...
Silly question...you did enable ReBar in BIOS, yes?
Silent-Principle103@reddit (OP)
Yeah I did enable rebar, maybe I need to update my drivers? But when I try, there’s nothing to update or wtv
OkSystem455@reddit
Is this PC only for gaming or do you also have productivity apps as well?
Silent-Principle103@reddit (OP)
Nah fresh install of windows, and it’s primarily for gaming
OkSystem455@reddit
At this juncture, the only other thing to try, IMHO, with the circumstances at hand, is a fresh ofl Windows and the ARC drivers...very destructive, obviously, to your existing install. Do you happen to have a spare SSD for testing?
Silent-Principle103@reddit (OP)
I’m gonna download and update the latest drivers and see what happens. Then I’ll go from there. But I don’t have a spare SSD.

DDU first...

Need to know exactly what cpu you have as intel have used that naming schemes fo a while.

12th Gen 12900k

Not the newest but definitely not a slouch in the cpu department so a 9060 16gb would probably be a good fit and if you havent already upgrade to 32gb of ram will give you a little boost in the 1% lows but that isnt a necessity.

Bro paired a NASA-tier CPU with a GPU fighting for its life.

lol, I’m still new to all this😅
