Nightmares? I was too busy wondering why I got a boner from the girl with the short hair.

Nope. Jaws, Alien, and 'Salem's Lot were my childhood nightmares.

I’ve seen this so many times. Love it. Pure 90s action. FUCKER WUCKER! The beginning scene is also the best scene.

Not a one. Because I wouldn’t be in those situations. I can’t relate. Same with people cave diving. Not gonna happen.

My hands still sweat thinking of that scene. That, plus 9/11 really messed me up with my fear of heights.

I'm not sure how young you'd have to be to have nightmares from this movie, but it's have to be pretty young. I think I was a teen when I finally decided to watch it.

It came out when I was 11-12 iirc, it definitely fucked me up, still to this day I hate thriller type movies mainly cause this one broke me inside.

Sorry to hear that. Any part in particular that disturbed you?

The climbing anxiety, heights and all that, plus the falling dude, plus just the nervous thriller movie stuff, I don’t know if I dislike horror movies more or thrillers, they both stress me out watching them. Like I still recall being absolutely wrecked watching Jurassic Park in the theaters during the Trex chase scene and the raptor scene at the end, if I can I prefer to not watch stuff that terrifies me, 😆

I also saw Jurassic Park in the theater when I was around 8. The T-Rex chase scene had me literally on the edge of my seat! I loved it, it was such a thrill!

Nope. Even I knew it was going to bomb at 8 years old.

I actually liked this movie. Me and my brother watched it during a free HBO weekend and I loved watching the bad guys get their comeuppance. It was also the first movie that showed me John Lithgow's range as an actor.

My sister in law used to play that scene just make my nephew cry. She stopped after I told my dad that she was doing that, and nobody messes with Papa's grandkids.

I was at the right age for that scene to give me existential dread pretty young. I remember we rented it and my parents watched it in the living room. Of course I was watching too.

I loved this movie as a kid. I thought it was so freaking cool. I watched it not too long ago and I think it still holds up as a solid action movie with really Impressive stunts. One thing I like is that it actually feels like they’re on the side of a mountain and freezing. They did a really good job of selling the locations. I even got the game on sega genesis and man it suuuuucked. The sega cd version had a snowboarding segment but I doubt it made the game any better.

Maybe he's not, you know, Ridley Scott or something, but I think Renny Harlin's a tremendous filmmaker! Like, Adventures of Ford Fairlane, you know, as far as an Andrew Dice Clay vehicle goes, it's pretty decent. And Cliffhanger! Cliffhanger's incredible! As far as the whole like, man against nature type of movies go, it's absolutely amazing!
