Awhile back my graphics card died (radeon challenger 5500xt) i recently got a new one (radeon challenger 7600) my problem now lies in my pc case when I put the new graphics card in it wasnt clicking i then noticed that the top of the backplate area is stopping it from going in any further as the plate on the graphics card is at that point fully lined up with the top of the backplates I dont know of any other solution then to use a different pc case i think my current one is low profile so I figured id try my luck here and see what you all might have to say

It looks ok to me in the photo you provided.
But if the case is not low profile and the new graphics card is low profile, then your can buy a PCIe extension/riser from half to full height.

The plate on the graphics card rests on the back plates before its fully clicks in i need just the tiniest bit more for the graphics card to click into place

Dremel it or get a new case.
