Room in Budapest

Hi. I booked a hotel room in Budapest from May 28th to June 3rd, but unfortunately I can't go because I have to use crutches. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do with it?

Maybe tell them you won’t need the room because you’ve had an accident (I assume)?

I did but they can’t refund because of the champions league final. I dont want to cancel it and they keep my money and sell the room again for a higher price.

Huh, that makes no sense. If you cancel there's still time for them to rent it to someone looking for a room in the last minute...

id just contact the llace, they will happily refund you to sell it at a higher price your bank might also have a refund policy if you got into an accident
