Ford Mustang V6 2014-2017
2018 ford mustang GT
Maybe mustang ecoboost
Chevy corvette c5 or c6
Camaro ss 2016
Toyota Tacoma
Maybe is350 f sport probably not
Bmw 340i or 540i Feel free to suggest or tear an idea apart (it’ll narrower it down)

Get the 18 GT

Bmw 135is

Or 128i, honestly still fun and cheaper to maintain/repair. Better budget option if money is tight.

The n52 definitely has a great reputation and I understand why. It’s a great daily.
135is@reddit
Yeah definitely. They’re fun cars, I have a 2013 135is and a e90 328i.
I was originally looking for a 128i when I bought my e90 but the market for a manual one near me is crazy. And I ended up getting a great deal on a mint e90.

But only the first model, the short wheelbase one. Later on they’re longer and unfun.
135is@reddit
The 135is was only made in 2013. Only 586 made in the world. American exclusive.
Also a 08 and a 2013 135i have the same wheelbase. I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

What’s the budget? There’s like a 50k spread here lol

How is there a Tacoma on this list lol
RackingUpTheMiles@reddit
That's easily one of the worst handling vehicles I've ever driven. I hate how it drives to the point where I either wouldn't buy one or have to modify how the steering feels. And I owned a 90s Ford Explorer and I currently drive a semi truck. I know about terrible driving dynamics.
Relevant_Election530@reddit
I just think the hilarity of going to a dealership and telling a salesman "it's down to the Tacoma or the Corvette "

Alternatively, you could just get a regular cab, short bed and do some mods and get the best of both.

Volkswagen Golf GTI.

I autocross an ecoboost. Great cars that are cheap to modify and tune. But if you go that route make sure it’s a 2020+ if you can’t, go with that 18 GT. The early ecos are prone to catastrophic engine failure none affectionately as “ecoboom”.
I also have a C8 corvette and all the guys tell me a c6 can make 1000hp for less than $10k invested, so that’s a platform I’m thinking about checking out myself.
I had a few Camaros over the years too, and the later ones seem to be sorta cheap interior wise, but the drivetrains are solid.
My dad had is350 and loved it. Hard to find one that isn’t clapped out, or low enough mileage to justify what people ask for them. They are a lot less boring than they look though and still a worthy contender.
I have almost zero experience with BMW outside of an X7 my wife’s mom drives, and well it’s too large to have any real fun with.

Do you…know what a Tacoma is?
Anyway, info on budget, lifestyle (kids, future kids, commute, frequency of long road trips, etc.) and maybe even general location in terms of climate would be useful

Tacoma? Lol Check out the following: VW Golf gti, subaru impreza rs, bmw m240i, bmw m340i, audi S3, mazda 3 sport gt turbo hatch, lexus is300 or 350

Whatever you pick don’t buy at a Buy Here Pay Here place. And check what your insurance will be.

Why 2014-2017 specifically? 2013 is the same as the 2014 model. 2011-2012 are similar but look a little uglier imo.

Buy a Miata... and read a couple books.
