Mostly running now but it took me a lot of time to be able to run regularly. At 262 lbs. just walk a lot like 90 min a day with that weight you burn so much just by moving. Ask GPT about volume eating try to count calories on beginning later you know how much you eat approximately.
Yeah I've been getting 8k-10k steps per day. Been tracking my food through myfitness pal eating 2000-2500 calories per day. Just gotta stay consistent.
You rock brother. I help OTR carriers build a nutrition based diet plan and the results are awesome. You yourself has done an amazing job bro, more power to you.
Wow thanks for the inspiration i was beginning to think its impossible to lose weight while otr. I guess its all about applying yourself and putting in the work. Im going to start preparing my own meals now and staying away from the bad over process truck stop food
hell yeah driver. can you share what your diet parameters were? like caloric deficit/surplus, no carbs, etc? and what your exercise schedule looked like?
My training is I try to run 12 to 18 miles a week. On rest day 12000 steps or squats lunges push-ups mostly depends on weather.
Food 1600 cal to 1800 a day. Now since I did aquire new running skill it's way easier did 10 run in 55 min burned 850 cal. Food mostly lean meats chicken breast, lean ground turkey or beef with veggies, egg / egg whites low fat yogurt and cottage cheese with berries and snack fruits. I cook my food in one pan in truck I can make whole lunch from scratch in 30 minutes brake cook eat clean. My go to dish is coleslaw mix from Walmart in a bowl then half sweet potato chicken satuee in a pan with seasoning and lime juice.
man those bags of 'angel hair coleslaw' have been a staple of mine for many weeks now lol I default to something til I play it out then move on π the coleslaw + kimchi + mayo (avocado mayo!) is just so perfect! Obviously add meat or whatever protein I usually do the pre-peeled hard boiled eggs!
I'm eating this mix from year just different toppings. Check out this recipe ground turkey 1% fat 1/3 lbs egg whites sweet potato cubes and taco seasoning it's power breakfast. Also good with spinach or mushrooms depends what you can get fresh in Walmart
There's no secret to losing weight. Less calories means losing weight. No fancy diet workout regime, personal trainer needed. I lost 90 lbs a few years back and did nothing but eat less.
