Sounds like a place that fuck up your transmission. I will only go to the dealer to do anything involving the tranny.

A transmission service includes the filter as well as the fluid. There's an App called MECHAI that is free to download that you can set to your specific year, make and model that will give you the specifics of what a transmission service entails.
