Is this thing toast?

On a $200 Temu ebike which I happen to love. How hard is that repair if I got a new rim?

its flat spotted and its length might be too long to try prying the lip back into alignment..
id give it a 50/50 chance that you can DIY it
maybe using heat...

Nope. It's a tire.

Ive road my fat tire right around 30,000 miles i got 20,000 out of first bafang just threw another 1 in awesone new tires rocks

I just had that on crotch rocket adjustable wrench did the trick
Vicv_@reddit
I believe that’s an e-bike

That thing is totaled bro. New motor new rim and this time don’t get shitty mag wheels

This is the type of person who buys a new car when they get a flat tire

Bang it roughly back into shape with a hammer and if the vacuum tire doesn't hold air anymore then get an inner tube for 10 bucks.

Maybe put a piece of wood inbetween to not chip of any paint
TopRepulsive4766@reddit
Easy fix. I'd probably use a mallet on that one. But (like another answerer mentioned) an adjustable wrench or similar will work as well.

Just it a few gentle love taps with a hammer and dolly or use a block of wood to nock that dent out of your back rim should be fine as long there is no cracks in the rim, like you said it's a Temu bike that you love 😘🚲

Look for $200 my 220lb ass takes me to the gym and groceries with a basket, ride it to work sometimes. It's been awesome.
I just bought a 2000w peak 90nm cruiser yesterday though, paid like $640. 750w rms. Also cheap but that's all I can afford. But for how long this thing has lasted, paid for itself in a few weeks over lyfts.

Hey I know what that's like, when you can't spend much on a ebike I paid 1,600 for my NCM 48v 28inch pedal assist, I use it daily rides to and from the city I have ridden just over 5.000 miles in 3 yrs and same here can't complain no issues or breakdowns
WarcraftTurok@reddit
No that looks fine to me. Just take the tire off and grab an adjustable crescent wrench, then put it on the bent part of the rim and give it a nudge to bend it back true. I had a dent exactly like this on a fat tire ebike of mine and haven't had a problem since.
