Best starter car with popups?

Hey guys! I am pretty new to the car world but I really like them & im learning more. I’m starting a savings account for my first project car which I will probably get in about a year! I’m looking for something entry level that’s fun, cheap, and easy (within reason) that has popups!

I’m currently leaning towards Miata na or corvette c4, but I wanted to ask you guys what your favorite (cheapish easyish) popups car is :] or if Miata is the best option here

Tho two are probably your best bet as they can be some of the most recent affordable cars with pop-ups

They are older Preludes, Ford Probes, Talons, Starions/Conquests, Mk2&3 Supra, Celicas , FB and FC’s, But those are all either meh, or getting old or both.

Always S13’s and 86’s if you don’t care about value

C5’s would probably be the best play if you can swing it.

Parts availability for older junk is starting to become a real issue

Probes can be found pretty cheap, you could get them with a turbo 4 in the first gen or second gen with a v6. I have a first gen non-turbo and love it, even if it's slow.

Otherwise, Miata is always the answer. C4 Corvettes are cool as hell, but I've always heard that they're unreliable. The 300z is also a nice car, but they can be pretty cramped under the hood.
