Also shout-out to "The Nature of Things", with David Suzuki. I learned so much and loved every minute of it.
mp3bear@reddit
And "Connections" and "The Day the Universe Changed" both with James Burke…
classicsat@reddit
Just as TLC was about to change, they aired all those. I had my C-band dish set up and got to see them there.

Saturday Moring's on CBC TV, Bob Macdonald had a kid's science show.
I don't know here it aired, but The Edison Twins.
classicsat@reddit
No. But I saw quite a few episodes of Julius Sumner Miller, not to mention his segments on Hilarious House OF Frightenstein.
jtrades69@reddit

Of course now let’s talk about some deeper cuts like Vegetable Soup or High Feather…
Spiff69@reddit
Of course, but did you subscribe to the magazine?
Particular_Ad6680@reddit (OP)
Of course, along with National Geographic. I even had a Nintendo Power magazine subscription for a couple of years.
Sea_Voice_404@reddit
Not only watched it but subscribed to the magazine.
OCCAMINVESTIGATOR@reddit
This theme song is stuck in my head forever, along with electric company, sesame Street and the like and unfortunately the women's feminine deodorant spray, FDS. So very confident.
seattlemh@reddit
Lol, I just turned it on.
IAmDaBadMan@reddit
I watched Mr. Wizards World.
thesqueen113388@reddit
Me too! I loved that guy!!
xBobaFattx@reddit
Man this brought me back lol, now I can't stop thinking about the theme song
BerryGT@reddit
Wow, that's a blast from the past. Had forgotten about it but that theme song and logo is etched in my brain. I remember really liking it.
ChrisinOB2@reddit
I'm definitely a GenX science nerd, but I have no memory of that show at all, sorry to say

I reject the premise of 3-2-1 Contact being a "forgotten '80s classic."
BigHeadWeb@reddit
Nope, I watched Science International (also called What Will They Think of Next?) with Joseph Campanella and Tiiu Leek.
A_Gringo666@reddit
Nope. It wasn't shown in my country.
evilJaze@reddit
I learned so much from this show as early as when I was in kindergarten. It inspired me to pursue an education in science.
DocSportello1970@reddit
Of course I watched it....along with Electric Company, Fraggle Rock, Super Friends, Land of the Lost, Andy Griffith, Brady Bunch, Scooby-Doo, 3's Company, Jetsons, WKRP etc. etc. etc.
For we are The Best Generation!!!
Oh, and lets not forget those great 70's "hour long shows" like Ba Ba Black Sheep, Charlies Angles, Grizzly Adams, Dallas, Six Million $ Man, Wonder n Bionic Woman and others.
Zaphod1620@reddit
I loved it. I considered it the Electric Company for smart kids.
