How much stress

I’m on the verge of committing to a modular route, but I want honest answers on how much stress pilots feel under.
I’m currently in a public service with a lot of stress so I want to asses honest answers of what the job is like in that respect

Training is stressful.
Real life is pretty comfortable until you need to utilize that training and you’re in a life and death situation.

Training is very stressful but If you’re employed in a commercial operation and you’re stressed, something is wrong.

Aviation has a ton of different paths you can go down, each one will have it’s own stressors which vary in intensity.
I’m in Corp. Most of the stress on my end is not knowing when we’re flying and then getting a last min call.
It’s going to depend on the person. If you get rank test anxiety you’re going to have a hard time as the training can be quite challenging, and then once you get a job you’re getting tested yearly on your airplane/procedures.
That other poster said it best. The flying itself can be stressful but for me I’ve almost always found the actual flying stress to be weirdly enjoyable. Kind of locked in on the task at hand.

Training can be stressful (including type and line training), but once you have a few months of experience on the line, it's pretty chill. Sure, you still get situations where your heart rate increases a bit, but overall it's a very routine job.
