Super comfortable! Sometimes, they even get to share mudbaths with naked horny middle aged women
detectedbeats@reddit
And kids love seeing their father get naked to join the mud bath!

And this is the son he treats best folks. He adopted Jeremy too. I assume he just runs feral through the not-vents like a mix of a ghost and ships cat.
Remarkable-Pin-8352@reddit
Probably more comfortable than the Yamato.
Prudent_Leave_2171@reddit
Too soon!
Mass-Effect-6932@reddit
Or the Odyssey
Prudent_Leave_2171@reddit
On the plus side, I remember them mentioning that they had offloaded the civilians before they went on the rescue mission into the Gamma quadrant.

The good news: You get to skip school because it was blown up by the Dominion.
The bad news: Your mom, dad or both were also blown up by the Dominion.
Prudent_Leave_2171@reddit
So what I’m hearing is, no bedtime either? Score!

The Yamato was warm and bright, at least.

He never looked very comfortable, tbh.
slobis@reddit
As much as that kid was on TV he never got, ya know, good at acting.
hubertyv@reddit
Not a bad guitarist for The Ataris though.
dandle@reddit
He also played the godawful "Oliver" character on Family Ties, the surprise addition Andy Keaton.
He joined the lineup of The Ataris years after I saw them at Santos Party House in NYC. They sucked so bad at the time.
frankduxvandamme@reddit
He should have spent more time doing Shakespeare on the holodeck with Picard.
bjb8@reddit
As an environment it is like a small town, but the fact they can get in to battle or dangerous situations every Wednesday at 8pm would stress the kids out, and I don't think that is good.
Thewrongbakedpotato@reddit
Hell, they should have an entire pediatric psychology department on the ship.
"Yes, Chrissie, I understand that being hyper evolved into a salamander WAS scary, but imagine how Robert must have felt when you ate his baby sister."
Fuzzy_Builder_2153@reddit
But he is stealing
odysseyandoracle118@reddit
Didn't he hold on to a toy or something from a classroom?
I never thought about it until now, but in a post scarcity society would this even register as theft?
What would the social norms be around institutional/personal property after a couple hundred years of replicator tech?
Peas-Of-Wrath@reddit
I think accusing him of theft is the actual crime here. Poor kid.
Sea-Quality4726@reddit
That probably makes it even more important to socialize kids not to take other people's things, if they otherwise see everything as replaceable or disposable.
MaterialJudgment4582@reddit
Hey kids you better straighten up or I am throwing you into the replicator reclaimer. Lol like threatening to throw your kid away into the trash.
Artistic_Regard_QED@reddit
Like, don't take shit from the classrooms. If you want one for yourself, replicate one in your quarters.
Peas-Of-Wrath@reddit
What exactly constitutes stealing anyway when they have no currency and anyone can replicate anything at will? Just replicate another stupid dinosaur toy and leave the poor kid alone.

Galaxy-Class ship is like a modern day luxury liner. Starfleet builds these ships with family in mind. More luxurious then a Constitution, Constellation, Miranda, and Excelsior
mousicle@reddit
The Suite Life of Alexander and Marissa
TolerancEJ@reddit
If you have trouble with any child, you can ship them off to the Rozhenko residence.
froot_loop_dingus_@reddit
Considering every week the Enterprise is in some kind of mortal danger, it's pretty irresponsible to have civilians on board. If it actually were just a research vessel like the mission states that would be one thing but in practice it's not.
Sea-Quality4726@reddit
But then they would have to admit that both to themselves and their peers.
These are the voyages of the battleship slash diplomatic ferry Enterprise...
nhowe006@reddit
But they won't admit it. Because of the implication.
uberneuman_part2@reddit
“And Mr. Worf, your request to place your son’s room inside the emergency explosive airlock is denied. For now…”
atreidesspirit@reddit
Its great. All the combat, being blown up, being de-evolved, etc puts hair on their chest.
Prudent_Leave_2171@reddit
Sometimes literally, depending what they’re devolved into
Artistic_Regard_QED@reddit
Not to mention having the turbolift break your bones.
MaterialJudgment4582@reddit
Enterprise D good for kids....
Hhmmm, not if LT.Work was you parent.
Constant-Box-7898@reddit
Stealing our hearts maybe. 😝
odysseyandoracle118@reddit
I got assimilated once for an entire month and missed the Holoprom.
