Which Ban? You talking Brady Bill? With out doing a bunch of research I am confident saying this is not. We deployed to Kuwait in July 94 and they gave us the early version of the Beta C Mags to test and they FUVKING SUCKED...that being said that serial number would be way to be pre ban when we were testing there shitty prototypes in 94 5 months after the ban went into effect
Probably because between the intrinsic action deployment then 30 days later going back fo vigilant warrior we told DoD CMags Suck ass. The bullshit ass Graphite lube was worthless and the Kuwait sand just made the whole thing worthless
Which one ? ntrinsic action was a regular rotation to keep units in Kuwait traingi with Kuwaiti forces as a presences operating out of what was then camp Doha(uncle frosties) I was there in July 94 with 24ID-2/7 Inf. out of stewart. We deployed back to Stewart and 30 days later hussein moved a fuck load of units back to the Kuwait border. The called Operation Vigilant warrior in Oct 94 and we ended up back in Kuwait on the Al Matla Ridgeline even though we were supposed to be Drf 2 and 3/7 was supposed to be Drf 1. But since we were just there fuck it we went back and sat on the south side of the ridge with the royal Marines and so shitty Kuwaiti infantry that couldnt figure out how to wear kpots
I was MLRS stationed out of Ft Sill, my battery of 3 launchers was attached to a tube artillery battalion out of Ft. Carson. We didn't do any training with Kuwait at all. We were there 6 months and I was back right before Christmas '95. We did go back to camp doha once in a while, and I remember a free burger at Uncle frosties is like heaven when you've been eating 2 MREs a day. As for which Intrinsic Action, I don't know details, that's all we ever called it.
I was just starting to buy guns back then but I don't remember having any problem getting full capacity magazines. I didn't have the money to buy whatever I wanted though, and I was in Germany for several years of that ban.

Says made in USA what ban are you speaking of?
1Crusty_Old_Man@reddit
'94 AWB.
RandoAtReddit@reddit
What ban are you talking about?
GodDamnArmorer@reddit
Pre-Ban generally refers to the 94 fed ban.
RandoAtReddit@reddit
But did that ban affect mags? I don't remember it doing that.
gyro_bro@reddit
I feel old
1Crusty_Old_Man@reddit
Same here. I was in my 30's when the ban dropped.
GodDamnArmorer@reddit
Oh yes it did, anything over 10 rounds. That’s why you see HK, Colt, and Knights etc. mags with restricted LE/Mil markings.
Puzzleheaded-Ad-4846@reddit
No the ban didn't apply to ALL mags over 10 rounds
GodDamnArmorer@reddit
Given the context of this conversation, can you please elaborate on what magazines were not banned for production for the civilian market.
RandoAtReddit@reddit
I was just starting to buy guns back then but I don't remember having any problem getting full capacity magazines. I didn't have the money to buy whatever I wanted though, and I was in Germany for several years of that ban.
sewiv@reddit
Good for you. The 94 ban absolutely applied to magazines for civilians. Pre-ban standard capacity mags were available, but very expensive
cfreezy72@reddit
Email the company and they'll date it for you
Muckmenofficial@reddit
The company that’s been out of business for atleast 5 years?
cfreezy72@reddit
This company? https://cmagbeta.com/
I called them last year to date one I bought on gafs
IanKelsonMD@reddit
Preban buyers and sellers are stupid.
Plan a day trip to a free state and load up, then head home. Ugh.
DrClo@reddit
Why would a magazine need to be "pre ban"? Doesn't matter for the AWB so would be state dependent on mag restrictions... right?
ReefkeeperSteve@reddit
Assuming asking if pre-94, no it’s not.
Uptight_Internet_Man@reddit
There's a snake eater joke here I'm just too lazy to find it.
sheafflestout@reddit
No I think those came out around 2000.
The preban Chinese drum mags were 120 round mags. Here's some pics of one.

Muckmenofficial@reddit
They existed in the 90s, atleast as early as 97
nwhockey@reddit
1987 is the patent

Not a chance. Clear back is newer production
