Today's ration: bean salad with vintage ingredients

1 can of corn expired 2024, 1 can if kidney beans expired 2023, 1 can of tomatoes expired 2018, 2/3 packet taco seasoning expired 2023, a bit of hot sauce and olive oil.
I drained but did not rinse anything. Dumped in an old metal dog bowl and mixed.
I will repeat this tomorrow and Saturday. Stroganoff on Friday

Just so you know, those are not expiration dates.
Best by simply means the company that packaged it can only guarantee that the contents are up to their standards but will generally stay fine for a lot longer since they are canned.
Expiration dates are a bit more dangerous to play with than best by dates.
