preventative maintenance

What all is considered preventative maintenance?
Does changing the cabin air filters & making sure AC works. Consider preventative maintenance?..
Im a new driver for swift & they gave me a truck that has clogged cabin filters. With no AC blowing.
I had the main cabin air filter replaced on my own, but later finding out there is also a sleeper birth cabin filter…
So it makes me wonder if they even did preventative maintenance before giving me this truck.
Sure it has brand new tires, but yeah so my question is once again.
Does preventative maintenance fall under working AC? Or am I suppose to suffer in the heat when trying to sleep

preventative maintenance means taking care of a vehicle with routine maintenance to ensure nothing breaks down the line. for example ensuring your refrigerant level is good for your AC to work and yes changing the filters.

This is entirely dependent on the service contract the company has with the maintainer.

Okay thank you, I figured. But just wanna get a second opinion, before I go cry to my driver leader.. That this falls under PM & when the main cabin filter was pulled out. It’s was nasty & hasn’t been changed in months to ever at all..
