Question about grain hauling
Posted by PrairieFloater@reddit | Truckers | View on Reddit | 1 comments
I've got an opportunity to haul grain. Pay is 25% of whatever the truck grosses. Truck owner says I'd gross $7500-10k per month depending on how hard I want to run.
I've never hauled grain and I don't know anyone that does, but the money intrigues me.
What's the average day look like for a grain hauler pulling a set of trailers? What should I look out for and what are the pros and cons.
I'd be in Canada, working throughout the 3 prairie provinces.
Thanks

You’ll learn to load off your bags, and that sweeping hoppers can be a great workout… and that DDGS and ground flax are the DEVIL.
