Does top intake + exhaust fans setup works underneath desk?

Hi guys, I want to setup my Fractal Design North top fans with 2 Noctua 120mm fans for 1 Intake / 1 Exhaust fan setup.
Top front fan will be Intake and Top rear fan will be exhaust.
However, my PC will be underneath my desk (23cm difference).
May I ask if this will work please or do I have to change this setup back to 2 top exhaust fans?
I know if top front fan is exhaust it will steal air from the intake front fans, but I am not sure if it is better than the top front fan intaking hot air from the top rear exhaust fan.

Top intake is going to suck in dust. I would put front intake with just rear/top exhaust should be fine depending on your setup.
